~The crowd boos loudly as the show is kick started with Athene being shown over the Smacktron, sitting behind her desk in her office, looking somber.~

I'd like to start tonight off by congratulating Randy Orton, on behalf of myself and Jesse, for Randy's Royal Rumble win. We wish you and Charlie the best on RAW, and you have our full blessing to challenge for the Heavyweight Championship. Smackdown! will miss you both.

But that ends the good news for tonight. We all already know that the Undertaker's career was ended at the Royal Rumble... ~the crowd resounds with thunderous Booing~ ... But his isn't the only career that was ended Sunday night. ~She leans forward, placing her hands, clasped, on her desk.~ Jesse Hart's career was put to an end as well. ~the crowd now suddenly cheers loudly at the news~

That's right, I'm sure you've all been hearing the rumours by now, and they're true. Jesse suffered a herniated disk in his back that pinched a nerve in his neck, and he went into shock. He is currently in the hospital fighting for his life; however, Jesse would want the show to go on, so tonight it is with great sadness... ~she takes a deep breath~ ... that I will have to award the now vacant World Championship to an individual whom I deem to be worthy to carry the belt. ~The crowd blows up at the news that there will be a new Champion tonight!~

I've made a series of matches for tonight, in order to open the playing field for anyone and everyone who can prove to me that they should be the next World Champion. Whoever impressed me the most could very well be your next World Champion.

Tonight we'll see a rematch for the United States Championship between John Cena and Edge, a match between Carlito and Shelton Benjamin, one between Chris Benoit and Matt Margan, and finally, the main event will place Kurt Angle against Brock Lesnar. Only at the end of the night will I have made my decision, and that's when I'll announce the new World Champion.
