"Evolve" comes on the speakers as Evolution members Adonis Jordan and Nick Dinsmore walk out from the backstage area, giving a high fist pound and heading to the ring. The two enter in with Adonis pulling over the top and Dinsmore stepping on the apron, wiping his feet off and then going inside. They confer and give last minute strategies.










"Worlds Greatest" comes on the house system and announces the arrival of World Tag Team Champions Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas! Benjamin steps onto the ramp as Haas bounces right out. The two keep their velour tracksuits on as they head to the ring. They hand over their titles and look across at Dinsmore and Adonis, waiting on the bell.

The starters in the match are Dinsmore and Haas, who is sporting a black arm band around his bicep that reads “RUSS” in memory of his brother who passed away three years ago this month. Charlie circles around for a bit and feints in, as Dinsmore slides on his knees and up and around, finally going in with a collar and elbow tie up. Charlie goes right into a side headlock, but Nick powers out of it with his forearms. He pushes forward on Haas and bends him back on his calves. Charlie then flattens right out and snaps on his side, bringing Dinsmore up and along with an arm wringer and tries to pull him to his corner. Dinsmore holds his ground and ducks beneath Charlie with a fireman’s carry takeover. Haas lets go of the arm wringer and goes to bring him down by his legs, trying for an Oklahoma roll that Nick powers out of!

Charlie shuffles his feet on the breakout and studies Dinsmore's movements, leaning back and tagging in Shelton. Benjamin goes right through the ropes and comes around with another tie up attempt on Nick, but gets himself leaned into the ropes. Dinsmore pauses for a second and then gives a HARD open handed slap on his chest. Benjamin clenches up from it, as Dinsmore goes to whip him into the other corner and charges right in after him. Benjamin grabs onto the top rope as he hits the corner and leaps straight up into the air, landing behind the onrushing Dinsmore and yanking him by the waist down into a rollup! Dinsmore powers out at 2, and Benjamin gets sent to the canvas. Nick sticks his feet out and ties up Shelton then rolls over and tags in Adonis. Jordan launches himself over the top rope with a elbow drop across Benjamin's outstretched leg and goes right on the assault. Adonis hoists him up with a punch to the face and sends him sprawling into the corner. Jordan grabs him by the wrist and sends him into the ropes, rushing the other side as well. Shelton sees him on the rebound and leaps straight into the air, trying to leapfrog him. Adonis sees him going and leaps up himself, catching Benjamin in the midsection with a double footed dropkick!

Shelton gets clenched up by this one as Adonis grabs hold of his leg, tagging in Dinsmore at the same time. Nick comes in as the two grab Shelton's legs and do a falling wishbone splitter on them! Benjamin howls out in pain as Dinsmore lifts him up by the singlet and scoops him into a body slam position. Nick goes for the slam then rotates him outwards and drives Shelton, ribs first across his knee. Dinsmore then pulls him back up and turns it into a bridging fallaway slam, keeping his own shoulders up and waiting for a count that gets ONLY 2!

Nick shrugs and leans in to tag in Jordan a second time, who comes right in and tortures Shelton with kicks to the ribcage. Adonis grabs him by the shoulders and sends him flying chest first into the corner. Shelton hits and falls backwards into Adonis’ pump handle. Jordan snatches up on the arm and prepares for the spin, but Haas breaks it up with a punch across his shoulder blades!

Adonis turns to jaw with Haas some as Benjamin drops to one knee, catching his breath. When Jordan turns around, Shelton pops forward with a super kick that Adonis catches. He spins him around and gets met with a rebound spin kick instead! Benjamin crawls to his side as Jordan hits face first on the canvas, trying to pull himself over to Dinsmore!

The fans start to cheer the race to the corner. Jordan makes the tag to Nick right before Shelton falls into one from Charlie! Haas bounds into the ring, powering Nick over with a belly to belly! Adonis stumbles up into a Northern Lights Suplex from Haas that smacks HIM into the mat. Dinsmore comes up and is met with a punch and a snake eyes into the top rope. Charlie holds him there, as Shelton tries to move to his feet, seeing the setup. Benjamin backs into the ropes and goes to rush forward but he's intercepted with a shoulder tackle from Adonis to the ribs!

Haas lets go of Dinsmore and goes to deal with his partner instead. Charlie catches Jordan with a fist between the eyes and sends him flipping over to the floor! When Dinsmore comes forward, Haas meets him with an inverted Atomic Drop then a double underhook suplex! Haas then signals to Shelton that it’s time, and Benjamin slowly goes to the corner, pulling himself up and measuring Nick from behind. Benjamin keeps his back to the others, as Charlie comes up from behind him, grabbing him by the waist and steps onto the 2nd turnbuckle. Haas takes a breath and then yanks his partner off the top in German Suplex style, forcing Benjamin into a high moonsault onto Dinsmore's chest!

Nick holds onto his stomach as Shelton rolls off and lands next to occupy Adonis on the floor! Charlie moves over quickly and yanks back on his leg after the Haas Brothers finisher, getting a one...two....and a THREE count!


“World’s Greatest” blasts over the speakers as the champions are successful! Charlie bounces right up to his feet and looks to the heavens, pointing up high and dedicating that one to his brother! He meets up with Benjamin and they share a hug and are handed their championships, celebrating their way back up the ramp, leaving Evolution behind defeated once again.














Just then, Sylvan Grenier and René Duprée appear at the top of the stage, and they mug Benjamin from behind to a HUGE round of boos from the fans! Haas then chases them off, and Les Séparatistes motion to their waists before disappearing to the back, sending The World’s Greatest Tag Team a message.


Benjamin pulls himself back up and rubs the back of his head, telling Haas that he’s cool and to forget about it, that they’ll deal with it later, and for now, just to enjoy the moment.
