Subject: The World Champion


-As soon as Smackdown! hits the air, highlights of the Elimination Chamber are shown; specifically the parts where Jesse Hart eliminates Kurt Angle, and then where he overcomes The Undertaker to become the World Champion. The lights in the arena then dim as the beginning drumming to Dope’s “Debonaire” begins to pound over the speakers, and once it kicks into full gear, there appears the General Manager and the NEW World Champion!-










-Athene walks out with a smirk spread across her lips, followed closely by Jesse Hart who is dressed in street gear, full bandage across his forehead, black eye and bruised cheek, split lip, but with the World Championship draped across his shoulder, grinning from ear to ear. Once at ringside, Athene sits on the ropes for Jesse to enter, but he shakes his head no and sits on the ropes himself, allowing her to enter first. Once in the ring, Athene demands a mic and is handed one, and she passes it over to the champ with a nod of the head.-


Hart: Thanks, ‘Thene… greatly appreciated. And you know what else is appreciated, or at least SHOULD be appreciated? -Athene holds her hands up, asking him what.- The fact that Jesse Hart, the youngest World Champion in wrestling history, is now a FOUR TIME, FOUR TIME, FOUR TIME, FOUR TIME World Champ!

-The fans BOOM with boos, but Hart simply shrugs them off and continues.- And I did it the HARD way, by beating 5 other men inside of the Elimination Chamber for the SECOND year in a row. The office keeps lining them up, and I just keep knocking them down because this is my world, and I’m running it. I’m the foundation of this business, and I don’t just PLAY the game… I BEAT it night in and night out, and that’s why I’M the World Champion, and that’s why you’re NOTHING, Triple H. The next time you even think about disrespecting me, you just watch the tape of what I did last Sunday to guys like Chris Benoit, Brock Lesnar, Kurt Angle, and THE UNDERTAKER! You just watch what I did to guys the likes that you can’t even man up to be on the same Brand as. Have fun with your second rate, indie champions like Chris Jericho, and leave the real fights to the man that everyone pays to see.

Speaking of which… the Deadman is now dead, so no more games, no more playing with the lights, it’s done… just like Kurt Angle’s run with MY belt. I’m back on top, baby, and there ain’t a damn thing that anyone can do abou—



~Hart is then interrupted as “I Don’t Suck!” blasts over the speakers, signaling the arrival of the former World Champion, Kurt Angle!~













~Kurt quickly marches down the ramp and into the ring, taking a mic of his own and steps up to Jesse, glaring at the championship across his shoulder before speaking,~


Kurt: Nothing that anybody can do about it, huh?

Hart: You heard me Angle, and especially nothing that YOU can do about it, considering I’ve pinned your ass TWICE in a row now. –Hart smirks.-

Angle: And I made you TAP OUT, two Pay-Per-Views in a row, so what’s your point? You see, the way I see it is that I’m the first guy in line for that, and I’m not waiting until the Royal Rumble, heck, I’m not waiting until later on tonight!

~Angle goes to take a shot at Hart, but Athene steps in, holding her hands up and takes a mic.~


Athene: If you touch him Angle, you’re suspended!

~The fans begin to boo, but Athene continues.~ You’re not going anywhere NEAR Jesse… not tonight, not next week, not at the Royal Rumble, not EVER. Jesse beat you TWICE in a row now, so as far as I’m concerned, as the General Manager, you’re out of the picture. Don’t push your luck, because if you piss me off? You’ll be jerking the curtain.

~Athene smirks as Angle looks like he’s ready to explode, but the fans then pop LOUDLY as…~










Here Comes The Moneeeeeey!

Here we Go… Money Talks…

Heeeeere Coooooomes The Mooooooney!







~The owner of Brand Smackdown! bounces out onto the top of the stage, Shane-O-Mac Shane McMahon!~


~Hart, Athene and Angle all stare down the ramp as Shane stands there with a smirk spread across his lips, mic in hand. Shane goes to speak, but the crowd interrupts him with a chant of…~



“SHANE-O-MAC! SHANE-O-MAC! SHANE-O-MAC!”


Shane: Well, well, well… what do we have here? Athene, it’s so nice to see you again, but let me be frank. When I replaced my sister as the General Manager with you, I was expecting something a little bit different. Actually, I was expecting the absolute opposite, which is what I was promised. However, to my surprise, instead of turning the tables and adding a new flavor to Smackdown, you’ve simply brought it back to how it was after WrestleMania. Not that that’s necessarily a bad thing, but change, Athene, is a good thing. But I’m going to let this stand for now, I’ll deal with you when the time is right. For now, however, I’m going to have to step on your toes a little bit here. Actually, I’m going to stomp all over them because Kurt Angle WILL get a rematch for the World Championship, and it won’t be at the Royal Rumble, it won’t be next week, it will be right here TONIGHT in LOS ANGELES, the home of WrestleMania 21!


~The crowd EXPLODES as Hart and Athene shake their heads no, but Angle nods his head yes, locking his eyes on Hart and the championship.~


Shane: Now that’s enough talk, let’s get ON with the show, baby! Hit it!


~Just then, we jump into the Smackdown! opening!~
