Christian's theme hits on the speakers as the man himself comes from behind the curtain. He stops, points to the crowd and then gives a chest pound as he heads to the ring.

Fireworks go off for the intro of “Break The Walls Down”, and at the top of the stage, once the lights come back on, there stands the Heavyweight Champion, with his back to the crowd! Jericho then makes his way down the ramp with the championship around his waist, climbing up the ring steps and lion walks along the apron before entering the ring, smirking across at Christian as he points to the championship, telling Christian that this is as close as he’s ever gonna get to it.
Christian waits for the bell and then points to all of his booing "peeps". He then circles around Jericho waiting for the tie-up. As soon as they lock up, Jericho dives around Christian with a schoolboy, going for a quick Walls of Jericho! Christian waits until he's ducked down and starts punching him in the head, forcing a release of the Walls. Jericho gets back up to his feet and is immediately blindsided by the CLB with a hard clothesline. Y2J hits the mat and rebounds back up to his feet, stumbling back first into a corner. Christian follows him in and puts a boot to his midsection, then sends another and starts punching him there. He forces Jericho to his bottom and sends a series of shots to the forehead as well.
As Christian backs off and plays to the crowd, Jericho pulls himself up to his feet. He then grabs Christian by the head and tosses him back first into the corner, lacing a LOUD chop across his chest! Christian bends forward from the chops, trying to cover himself up from them. Jericho then grabs his arms in a double under hook as he leans forward, dragging him out of the corner and hoists him into the air with a butterfly suplex, dropping him straight across his knee!
Christian hits the canvas, clenched up from the knee to the back. He starts moving away and onto the apron, waiting on the ref's count to clear his head. As the CLB stands clearing his head, Jericho rushes the corner and comes out with a dropkick that sends Christian to the outside! The crowd pops as Jericho struts around the ring, grabbing onto the ropes before springing himself over and onto Christian on the floor with a cross body!
Christian is nailed to the floor from this one, but has enough in him to curse the ref for allowing this assault on the outside. Jericho pulls Christian up and rolls him back into the ring, following him in and puts a foot to his chest while flexing, releasing a loud "YEAH, BABAY!" as the ref gets a quick two count. Christian grabs onto his ankle as he steps on him and twists it violently!
Jericho cringes as he face plants into the mat. Christian goes right on the assault on this one. He yanks up on the ankle and twists it forward some, then leaps to yank it out of position! The CLB grabs onto the ankle again and pulls back on it. He stands over Jericho, mouths a few threats and then drops his elbow on the outstretched leg, scissoring it and pulling hard. Christian pulls on Jericho's ankle, pulling the champion to one foot, slapping him across the face as Jericho hobbles on one foot. As Christian plays to the crowd, Jericho surprises him with an enzaguri to the back of the head!
Christian hits the mat and holds the back of his head, stumbling back up and going right over with a HARD kick to Jericho's leg again. Jericho crawls away and into a corner, sending another chop Christian's way in self defense. Christian wanders over to the corner, still holding the back of his head and gets caught by a kick from Jericho, and then a second, as Y2J pulls up on the ropes and then springs from the mat, to the 2nd rope and off with a back elbow to the chin! Christian hits the canvas as Jericho goes to his feet, bouncing gingerly on one leg. He holds Christian up by the hair and gets set to take him over with a Northern Lights Suplex. Christian clenches down on the hold and twists Jericho around in a rotation, and then drops right to the canvas with an Inverted DDT! Christian goes for the cover, but Jericho kicks out at two!
Christian looks at him and then goes for a second cover, this time yanking the leg back. Jericho STILL kicks out at 2! Christian pops off of him and then starts pounding the mat in frustration. He gets up, yells some at the ref and drops an elbow on Chris' chest. He drops down for another pin attempt, cradling his head AND his leg. 1... 2... Jericho reaches his free hand out and grabs the ropes this time to cause a break. Christian lets go of him and goes absolutely ballistic in the ring, slapping his hands on the mat and bouncing on his behind in a full blown tantrum!
As Christian wastes time, Jericho crawls towards the ropes and gets to his knees, looking back at Christian and flips him off, yelling out “C’mon you Son of a BITCH!” Christian’s eyes go wide and he races in, but Jericho trips him throat first onto the middle ropes with a drop-toe-hold! Y2J pulls himself up, kicks his ankle out, and then does a quick two step before coming off the ropes and crunching Christian there! The CLB rebounds off the ropes and onto the mat, and the champion is quick to spring off the ropes with the Lion Sault!
However, Christian rolls out of the way and Jericho lands on his feet, but his ankle gives out on him and he stumbles back into the ropes. Christian is right on him, hooking and spinning him around for the Unprettier, but Jericho squirms free and shoves Christian into the ropes, jamming him into the mat on the return with a Flashback! He goes for the cover, getting the one, two, TWO! Christian kicks out!
Jericho now goes to pull the challenger up by the head, but Christian intercepts him with a thumb to the eye. As Jericho stumbles back, Christian fires him across, but Y2J comes rebounding off the ropes with a flying forearm shot to the head! Christian hits the mat back first and rebounds back up, stumbling back into a corner. Jericho is right on him and fires him across, and as Christian rebounds out of the far corner, the champion comes off the ropes behind him and goes for a face buster, but Christian shoves out of it, sending Jericho crashing into the referee!
The ref takes a nasty spill to the outside as Christian once again hooks Jericho for the Unprettier, but Jericho shoves him off into the ropes once more and DRILLS him with a running enzaguri on the return! Christian drops to the mat quickly, motionless as Jericho covers as the fans count the one, two, three, but there is no referee to make it official!
Christian rolls onto his side after Jericho lets him up, trying to clear his head. As Jericho moves to find the referee, Petey Williams comes charging down to the ringside area. Williams looks at both men halfway out of it and goes to scoop up the Heavyweight Championship. Petey ducks low and walks over to where Christian is laying and shoves the title in to him, pointing at Jericho's uncovered back. Christian keeps the belt hidden close to his chest, and waits for Y2J to turn around. As soon as he does, Christian rushes forward and goes to belt shot him across the mouth but Jericho ducks the attack! Christian wonders what happened when his legs are taken out from under him. Jericho pulls up on them and starts to turn slowly, flipping the CLB over and onto his stomach and putting one knee down for the Walls of Jericho!!!
Christian reaches for the ropes but gets nothing as Jericho plants his knee in the back of the CLB's neck. The latter yells out loud and goes to tap out just as the referee moves into position to acknowledge it. Petey leaps to the apron and then rushes Jericho from the front. Chris bends forward and keeps Christian's legs. At the same time, Williams leaps over him in a sunset flip style, locks his legs around Y2J's arms and powers him over skull first into the canvas, making Jericho's body jolt down from the impact!! The referee looks to the outside and waves off this match, disqualifying Christian immediately!
Lance Storm comes down at this point, sliding into the ring and pausing behind Williams the second he gets to his feet. Petey turns around and gets superkicked in the chin and knocked through the ropes and to the floor! Christian pulls himself up and holds up his hands for clemency from Storm. Lance looks at Jericho and then rushes Christian, clotheslining him over the top rope and to the canvas next to Williams!
Jericho rolls around on the mat in pain, clutching his head as Storm clears the ring for him. After a few more moments, Christian and Petey make their way back up the ramp and to the back, and Storm stays behind, tending to Jericho, helping him halfway up to his feet. On his way up, Jericho picks up the Heavyweight Championship that is next to him, and as soon as Lance helps him to his feet, Jericho PASTES him across the head with the belt!
Storm gets flattened by the belt shot and holds his face in pain, confused by Jericho's attack! Jericho goes stumbling forward and into the ropes after the shot, looking down at Storm and starts jawing at him about his interference in the match and attacking him!
JR: "Guilty by Association Folks....Chris Jericho believes that his former partner, Lance Storm, the man who saved his butt, is the one who knocked him cold!"
Piper: "But don't ever forget Ross...the Heavyweight Champion HAS no partners, nor any friends...he is a man alone with that target around his waist. He did what any other champion would do....protected his title!"
