The fans pop loudly for the Icon, “The Heart Break Kid” Shawn Michaels as he bounces out onto the stage, making his way partly down before dropping to his knees and kneeling forward in time with his pyros! He then makes his way down to the ring where he poses for the fans, awaiting one of his partners from last night, and opponent tonight.








Coooooowbooooooy!






“Cowboy” rips over the speakers, signaling the arrival of “The Chosen One” Jeff Jarrett to another pop from the crowd! Double J walks out, holding out the peace sign as he makes his way down to the ring. Once inside, he stares across at HBK and the two meet in the middle, staring one another down and jawing at each other.




“Take A Look Around” then interrupts HBK and JJ, and they both look towards the ramp for the arrival of David Flair, but even after a few moments, he still hasn’t showed up yet. They begin to wonder where he is, and after another few moments, he appears from out of the crowd and slides into the ring from behind them, steel chair in hand and he BLASTS HBK across the back with it!









The crowd pops for the arrival but soon boo the actions as David pastes Jarrett across the head with the chair as he turns around! David then tosses the chair to the outside as Nick Patrick calls for the bell, not even able to DQ him because the match hadn’t started yet!


David then dives onto HBK, hooking the leg for a two count! He then moves over to Jarrett, pinning him down for another two count! David pulls at his hair for a moment as both men kick out before beginning to pound away at Jarrett’s head with his fist, busting him WIIIIIIIDE open!

David now leaves Jarrett lying in a pool of his own blood and moves over to HBK, stomping all over his back. He grabs him by the pants from behind and rams repeated forearms to his surgically repaired back, being more vicious than ever! He fires HBK off into a corner as hard as he can, and Shawn hits so hard that he comes rebounding face first onto the mat in the middle of the ring.

The crowd begins to boo Flair as he mocks HBK, bending low with a flex before mocking Jarrett by strutting towards him and holding out the double peace sign! As Jarrett reaches his knees, David sends a boot straight to his jaw, sending him crashing through the middle ropes and to the floor.

He then turns his attention back onto HBK, waiting for him to stand, calling for the Flashback. HBK slowly struggles up to his feet, straightening out and holds his lower back, turning towards David. Flair then races in, ducking around HBK and hooks his head, but before he can jam him into the mat, Michaels drills him with a back elbow to the jaw that rocks him back. David stumbles back and them forward, and HBK goes for the Sweet Chin Music, but David catches his foot and spins him around, JAMMING him into the mat with the Flashback! The crowd boos Flair as he covers for the one, two, TWO! Jarrett pulls the official out of the ring, breaking up the count!

David looks up after not hearing the third count, looking all around and then down at Jarrett with his eyes wide, knowing that he was “this” close to becoming the number one contender! He then goes over to the ropes, leaning over the top one and grabbing Jarrett by the hair, but JJ jacks him throat first across the top rope to a pop from the crowd, sending Flair flailing to his back!

Jarrett steps in through the ropes and goes over to David, then pauses and looks at Shawn. "You wait here, I'ma handle this one." He then turns and gives Flair a HARD kick in the ribs. When David rolls over on his stomach, JJ grabs him by the hair and seat of his pants, hoisting him to his feet. Jeff then turns and rushes the corner, sending Flair flying through the ropes and shoulder first into the ring post!! David crumples on impact and Jeff yanks him right out by the shorts, bringing him up and down with a head and arm suplex onto the fresh injury!

Jarrett holds him down for a 2 count, then yanks David up by the hair, points a threatening finger at him and then starts pounding away on his forehead with closed fists. Hebner comes up to warn him, but Jeff breaks it for a second and rakes Flair's eyes instead! Jeff then extends out David's arm with his own grip, and drops a knee right at the rotator cuff.

The Chosen One then goes into a strut of his own and turns his focus on Shawn Michaels, who's moving to his feet. Jeff goes right into him with a knee-lift to the stomach and brings him up and over with a vertical suplex! Jeff looks back as Shawn clenches up his fist after the impact. He grabs HBK by the hair and then Irish whips him into the corner, charging right in with a shoulder block! Shawn goes airborne when Jeff rushes and uses the ropes to yank himself up high and sunset flip Jarrett to the canvas, getting a 1...2..ONLY a 2 count as JJ kicks out.

When he's to his feet, HBK gives him a HARD chop to the chest, sprawling him into the corner. Shawn backs up and gives a second one, then slaps Jeff hard across the face. He goes for an Irish whip to the other side, but JJ reverses it and sends HBK flying in with double the force. Shawn ducks and hits the turnbuckle, flipping upside down and to the ring apron. Jarrett has scouted this, however, and moves right up with a shot that sends him to the outside!

With HBK on the outside and Jarrett's back turned, David comes up from behind him and rolls him up from behind with a schoolboy, raising his feet onto the middle ropes for a close two count! Jeff kicks out and when he sees David on the mat and moving up, comes forward with a hard soccer style kick to his chest! JJ yanks Flair to his feet and shoves him into the corner.


"You wanna play with the bigs, Flair? You can't lace my boots, boy!" and gives him a HARD slap across the mouth for his troubles. "Now lets see whatcha got y'lil bastard!"


David forgets about his shoulder for a second and shoves Jeff back in his own face. Flair comes right out with a chop across the sternum, and then a right cross on Jarrett's mouth! JJ stumbles back and goes up again into ANOTHER chop and punch combo from David, this one sends him into the corner instead. Flair keeps repeating it...punch, chop, punch, chop, punch chop, until he sees Shawn coming up on the apron, moves over and punches him back, and goes for ANOTHER chop on JJ, alternating between them!

Flair then rushes Jarrett, ducking around and goes behind him for the Flashback, but Jarrett counters it into a Stroke! The crowd pops as Jarrett goes for the cover, but once Hebner reaches the count of two, HBK comes flying off the top rope with an elbow drop on Jarrett! Shawn rolls right onto JJ and yanks his leg back, getting a 1...2...ONLY a 2 count as David pulls the ref out of the way.

HBK gets up and shakes his head, leaping onto Flair instead for a count....1...2..David kicks out at 2. Shawn figures out that this match has gone into the chaos stage and backs up, moving to the corner and holds onto the ropes. He twitches his leg for a moment, as the fans start to get up, bouncing back and forth. HBK zeroes in on Flair moving to his feet and stomps once along with the fans! David gets up and Shawn stomps again, shuffling from the left to the right. As soon as David turns around and sees it coming, Shawn changes directions and fires out, Super Kicking Jarrett in the jaw instead!

HBK turns around and points Jarrett out of the match, brushing off the toe of his boot, then focuses his attention to David. Shawn waves Flair forward, telling him to come and get some. David nods his head, but then motions to Jarrett, telling Shawn that he's getting up. In the split second that HBK looks over, David tackles him from behind, sending him flying through the middle ropes and then dives onto Jarrett, hooking the leg for the one, two, TWO! Jarrett kicks out!

David pulls at his hair with his eyes wide in disbelief! He then gets to his feet and grabs Hebner by the shirt, telling him to do his damn job and count faster! JJ pulls himself up by the ropes, trying to clear his head from the assault. Flair moves over with a rushing elbow that knocks Jeff to the sides. David then goes for an Irish whip that JJ keeps hold of, and yanks Flair back into him. Jarrett ducks around, turning the arm around and goes up and back down to the canvas with a shoulder stunner, trying to re-yank that arm out of socket!

HBK rolls back in under the bottom rope, crashing into Jeff with a springing body press from outside the ring. Shawn goes for the leg pull, but Jeff takes the momentum and rolls him up instead, getting a 1...2.. ONLY a 2 count from the Heartbreak kid! HBK moves up to his feet, and rushes Jarrett. JJ ducks down instead and brings Shawn over with a spinning spine buster, crashing him to the canvas! Jeff goes and lays across him, getting a one...two...David drops down with an elbow to break up the pin!

Flair pulls Jeff to his feet and sends repeated jabs to him. Flair stumbles back and fires forward with an elbow to the top of his head, having regained a second wind! Jeff tries a punch on Flair, but David ducks it and spins around him, delivering a Flashback on the Chosen One, driving him right into the mat! David lands on his side after this one, holding his shoulder in pain, and inching over towards Jeff. He lays across him as Hebner looks and drops down onto the mat, giving a 1.....2...AND DROPS HIS HAND FOR a third time, RIGHT before he's yanked out of the ring by Triple H!!













The Game decks Earl in the mouth and leaps into the ring, hoisting up David by the head and jacking him between his knees, going up and down with a Pedigree!! Triple H then goes out of the ring and past Ross and Piper, shoving JR out of the way and reaching under the table to reveal a sledgehammer!! Helmsley glares back into the ring and slams the hammer against his hand, stalking up the steps and back inside.


Triple H gets into the ring and when Shawn gets to his feet, he's BLASTED in the forehead with the sledgehammer! Helmsley turns and sees Jarrett getting up and gives him a shot as well! The Game circles around and hoists it up in the air, pointing to the back and signaling for the belt going around HIS waist instead!!













Just then, the Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho walks out onto the top of the stage, staring down at Triple H in the ring with a smirk, raising the title belt above his head and motions to his own waist, letting Triple H know just WHO the champion really is!
