“Never Gonna Stop” blasts over the speakers, and the crowd pop as Edge bounces out onto the top of the stage, going form side to side, hyping up the crowd! He then takes a running start down to the ring, sliding in from the bottom rope.






Ooooooooh Chaaaaaavooooooo!







Chavo Guerrero then appears at the top of the ramp, bandana around his head as he makes his way down the ramp and to the ring for this one on one contest, set to soften Edge up for his uncle Eddie for this Sunday in the Triple Threat match.


Once in the ring, Charles Robinson calls for the bell, and the two circle one another. As soon as they go to lock up, Chavo SLAPS Edge across the face. As Edge stands stunned, Chavito begins to get cocky, but Edge then comes forward with a HUGE right hand, knocking Chavo straight to his ass!

Chavo bounces back up and into a corner, and Edge is right on him, pounding away on him! Edge fires him across and follows him in, diving into his gut with a flying shoulder block! As Chavo stumbles out, Edge leans him against the ropes and goes to fire him across, but he holds on and pulls him into a side Russian leg sweep for a two count!

Chavo now slides to the outside, waving this match off. Edge is quick to follow him out and grabs him by the head, jamming it into the barricade! He then rolls Chavo back into the ring and goes up top, flying off with a missile dropkick and covers for another two count!













The United States Champion, Eddie Guerrero now comes down the ramp, climbing onto the apron. Edge locks eyes with him and approaches, and as he does so, Chavo rushes him from behind! However, Edge side steps him and Chavo knocks Eddie off the apron and to the floor!

Edge then measures Chavo, and as soon as he turns around he DIVES into him with a SPEAR! Chavo is laid out from the shot as Edge covers for the one, two, THREE!


Edge’s theme picks back up over the speakers as he is convincingly victorious in his first one on one contest on Smackdown! However, Eddie now mugs Edge from behind with a belt shot to the back of the head!

WORD LIFE!







The crowd then EXPLODES as John Cena comes tearing down the ramp, sliding into the ring and going right at Guerrero with a flurry of right hands! He then turns on a dime and clotheslines Chavo over the top rope and to the floor!


Referee Charles Robinson decides to make an executive decision and he calls for the bell, making an on-the-spot non-title match between John Cena and Eddie Guerrero! Eddie shakes his head no, refusing to compete, but Cena is all for it and he’s ALL over the unexpecting Guerrero!

Edge moves to the outside, shaking his head out as Cena drills Eddie with repeated shoulder tackles, dropping him to the mat three times in a row before leaning over him, waving his hand in front of his face as the crowd shouts out “YOU CAN’T SEE ME!”

John then comes off the ropes, dusts off his shoulder, and DROPS the 5 Knuckle Shuffle to the top of the champions head! Cena now struts around the ring, holding up the “Word Life” sign, and as soon as Eddie stands, he hoists him onto his shoulders and DRIVES him into the mat with the FU!! He hooks the leg, and Robinson counts the one, two, THREE!


“Basic Thuganomics” rapes the speakers once more as John Cena has pinned the champion!

Eddie rolls around on the mat, covering his face in shock about what has just gone down! As Cena plays to the crowd, and Eddie pulls himself up, Edge slides back into the ring and measures him, rushing in for a Spear on Guerrero, but Eddie leapfrogs him instinctively and Edge SPEARS Cena!!

Eddie immediately rolls to the outside, collecting his championship and meets up with Chavo, grinning back in the ring as Cena curses Edge out from the mat, and Edge shakes his head, pointing out to Guerrero, telling him that he won’t miss on Sunday.
