"Evolve" hits the speakers bringing out Evolution's monster, Matt Morgan. Matt steps down to the ring and pulls on the top rope, stepping up and over it and wandering to a corner, grabbing onto the turnbuckle and yelling to the crowd.









“I Don’t Suck!” blasts over the speakers, signaling the arrival of the World Champion, Kurt Angle! Kurt stops partway down and throws his arms above his head as his pyros blare up from behind him. He then makes his way down to the ring and climbs inside, staring across at Morgan as he hands the championship over, not quite sure what to make of this monster just yet.


Matt walks right up on Angle and goes for the stare down, looking down at him. Kurt pauses for a second and then delivers a shot to Matt, then a second and a 3rd, rocking the Giant back for a bit. He shakes off and rushes him with an elbow shot, and goes for a bodyslam! Matt goes about halfway up and then falls forward, crushing Angle beneath him for a 1....2...and a 3 count?!?

Kurt shoves his arm out at the absolute LAST split second as Morgan gets up, raising his own arms and thinking he's won! As Morgan celebrates, Chioda throws his arms down, signaling that it was only a two count! As soon as Morgan turns around, Kurt dives in and around with a schoolboy, and he turns it immediately into an Angle Lock! Morgan flails, reaching around wildly and grabs Chioda's ankle, trying to make him pull Kurt off! Angle drags Morgan into the middle of the ring, but Evolution's enforcer uses his leg strength to shove Angle off. Kurt does a full backwards roll and comes charging forward, right into a HUGE standing Spine Buster by Morgan and crunches the champion onto the back of his head!

Matt stands up, shaking his foot out and pulls Angle up by the head, shoving him into a corner and charging right in with a back elbow that snaps his skull back. Morgan holds his chin back and lands an open palmed shot on his chest. He waits until Kurt jolts from this one and then closes his fist, blasting a second shot right in his sternum! Matt grabs him by the arm and goes to Irish whip him into the opposite corner, following in with a body splash! However, Kurt steps out of the way and lets Morgan rush himself into the corner, and as he rebounds out, Kurt hooks his waist from behind and takes him over with a German suplex! The crowd pops as Angle holds on, rolling through and going for a second!

Morgan is shocked at being taken off of his feet and smacked down into the canvas. However, his shock changes right to a danger zone in his head as he's dropped with a second German, but before Kurt can take him over for a third, he breaks Angle's grip and tosses him clear OVER the top rope and to the floor! Matt drops to a knee and rubs the back of his head, glancing over and gnashing his teeth at Kurt. He then steps out of the ring and circles around the champion, hoisting him up and going under him with a bodyslam. Morgan pauses and military presses him up high above his head and tosses him back through the 1st and 2nd ropes!

Kurt goes rolling all the way across the ring and shakes his head, rubbing his neck as its gone through hell this past week. Morgan leaps to the apron and steps over the top again, moving over and shoving Angle with his foot. He then signals to the ref that the belt is going to be his and yanks Kurt up, jamming his head between his legs and setting up for a Powerbomb! Morgan holds him high and slides Kurt halfway over his shoulders, lowering him into a reversed full nelson that pulls HARD on his neck!

Kurt yells out, biting down on his mouthpiece to keep from submitting and swings his legs, feeling his feet touch Morgan from behind. Angle pauses, takes a deep breath and kicks Matt squarely in the small of his back with as much force as he can muster! As Morgan stumbles, Kurt rolls forward and locks him in the Angle Lock to a pop from the crowd!














Just then, Chris Benoit tears down the ramp to a pop from the crowd, hopping onto the apron and yells in at Angle! Kurt releases Morgan and rushes the ropes, knocking Benoit to the floor! However, as soon as the champion turns around, Matt is up and grabbing him by the singlet straps. Morgan spins around and plants him to the canvas with a Derailer! Matt then gives Benoit a sideways look and drops over Angle, pulling back on his leg for a pin!


Chioda deliberates for a moment on whether or not to call the match, and he then decides to drop down and count! However, the fall is interrupted as Chris Benoit comes flying off the top rope with the Swandive head butt, crashing into Morgan! As Morgan rolls off of Angle and Benoit rebounds off the mat, rubbing his head, Chioda calls for the bell, throwing this match out!

Kurt and Benoit now pull themselves up and stumble back to back into one another. They then both turn on a dime and begin to hammer away with right hands to a pop from the crowd! Kurt takes the advantage and goes low, lifting Benoit for the Olympic Slam, but Chris floats over and grabs Angle’s arm, trying to take him down into a Crossface! However, Angle fights it and goes low, going for the Angle Lock, but Benoit rolls through and shoves Kurt forward into a lariat by Morgan, and then Morgan runs Benoit over as well for good measure! Matt beats his chest as the fans in the front few rows start to chant…


"3 WAY DANCE!!! 3 WAY DANCE!!! 3 WAY DANCE!!!"


As soon as Kurt pulls himself up, Morgan hoists him above his head with a military press before dropping him down onto his shoulder, following it up with a Powerslam! Angle is driven into the mat as Morgan pops back up to his feet, immediately pulling Benoit’s head between his legs and hoists him into the air as well, this time with a Powerbomb, and he brings him crashing down to the mat with power!

We then head to a commercial break as Morgan stands over both the fallen bodies of Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit, looking down at them as he pounds his chest and “Evolve” blasts back over the speakers!
