“I Don’t Suck!” blasts over the speakers, bringing each and every fan to their feet as “Team Angle” appears at the top of the stage!









The crowd pops as Kurt Angle walks out in the middle, with Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin on either side of him, all three men wearing their respective championships around their waists. Nat walks around the pack as they stop at the top of the stage and drops to her knees in front of Kurt, facing away from him and throws her arms up above her head as Kurt does, with the pyros blaring up from behind them! They then make their way to the ring, with the crowd chanting “ANGLE!” repeatedly, right on cue to the music. All three men hand their championships over to referee Mike Chioda, and Kurt hands his medals off to Nat, who places them around her neck for safe keeping.



A few moments then pass before the opening drumming to Dope’s “Debonaire” begins to pound over the sound system, and as soon as the tempo of the song increases, the now former World Champion appears to a round of boos from the fans!







Hart walks halfway down the ramp, ignoring the negative reaction that this Pittsburgh crowd gives him, and stares straight ahead at Angle with fire in his eyes, absolutely seething.









“Whatever” then blasts over the speakers, and Hart is joined by his longtime partner and good friend, the ”Canadian Crippler” Chris Benoit! Benoit marches down the ramp on his toes, meeting up with Jesse and pats him on the back, cracking his neck from side to side, also staring directly into the ring at Angle as though he has a target across his chest.






Jax and DDP then begin to pose the question about who will be the sixth man, but before they can even take a wild guess, a grin spreads across Hart’s lips as “Evolve” blasts over the speakers, and a waterfall of fireworks comes sailing down from the Smacktron for the arrival of the number one contender, Randy Orton, who is accompanied by the Babe of the Year, Charlie O’Neale!
















The leaders of Evolution slowly make their way down the ramp, joining up with Hart and Benoit. Orton and Hart shake hands as Charlie thanks Jesse for the opportunity on Randy’s behalf, but Benoit is in no mood to talk strategy and slides right into the ring, dropping Haas with a running double forearm, and then Benjamin with one as well, sending them both down to the mat and calls on Angle to a surprising pop from the crowd!


Hart and Orton quickly slide into the ring, having Benoit’s back as Kurt holds two hands up, waving Charlie and Shelton to the outside, and nodding to Benoit, telling him that it’s time to go. Benoit insists on starting off this match, and Jesse & Randy have absolutely no problem with that, heading to the outside and cheering Benoit on.

Chioda now calls for the bell, and this Main Event 6 man tag team match is officially underway as Angle and Benoit circle one another! They lock-up immediately and Benoit goes around with a waist lock. Kurt immediately fires a few elbows back and goes around Benoit with one of his own, going for a German; however, Benoit keeps up the fast pace and reaches low, pulling Kurt’s leg out from under him and comes off the ropes, charging back towards Angle. Kurt drops down to the mat and Benoit leaps over him, hitting the far side ropes and comes charging back, and Angle goes for an over the head belly-to-belly, but Benoit comes in so fast and so furious that he runs over Angle with a double forearm shot to the chest, sending him rolling backwards and all the way to the outside of the ring!

The crowd BOOMS with boos as Hart and Orton drops off of the apron, mugging Angle on the outside! Haas and Benjamin quickly hurry over, but Hart and Orton simply roll Angle back into the ring and back off with their hands up, and Chioda orders the tag champs back to their corner.

Meanwhile, back in the ring, as Angle backs up into a corner, clearing his head, Benoit is ALL over him with STIFF chops to the chest! Chop! Chop! Chop! Benoit then takes Angle out of the corner with a quick snap suplex, and then pops back up to his feet, making the tag in to Jesse Hart! As soon as Hart steps into the ring and stalks after Angle, the crowd breaks out into a HUGE chant of…


“YOU TAPPED OUT! YOU TAPPED OUT! YOU TAPPED OUT!”


Jesse stops in his tracks for a moment, a cold expression covering his face, and he says “T’Hell with you! You don’t deserve me!” and then tags in Orton, heading back out onto the apron, turns his head back and points at a fan, telling him to “Shut your face before I ram my fist down your throat, you piece of shit!”

Orton raises a brow but enters the ring nonetheless, stalking behind Kurt as he pulls himself up. Orton then rushes towards him, going for a quick RKO, but Angle goes low with a leg lock and turns him into a quick and surprising Angle Lock to a HUGE pop from the crowd!

Benoit then quickly races into the ring, but Kurt ducks around him with a German suplex! Jesse is next up, but as soon as Kurt goes around him for a German, he slips free and drops down to the mat, rolling to the outside. As soon as Kurt turns around, Randy gets around him and JACKS him down with the 3.0 inverted neck breaker to a round of boos from the fans!

Orton pops up to his feet, extending his arms to his side in adoration of himself. Hart now calls for the tag, and Orton shrugs, giving it to him. Jesse now comes into the ring in a hurry, dropping down onto Angle and mounts him, ramming repeated violent fists to the top of his head! Jesse now pulls Kurt up to his knees and tosses him throat first across the bottom rope, and then he rams his knee into the back of his head, choking him out in the ropes! Chioda gives a standing five count, but Jesse simply pie faces him down to the mat and continues with the choke! However, Benjamin comes over on the apron and gives a high thrust kick to Hart’s jaw, sending him flying to his back halfway across the ring!

Shelton tags himself in and springs up to the top rope, flying off with a cross body onto Hart for a two count! The crowd pops as Shelton kicks it into high gear, firing Hart across and leapfrogs him, taking him down with a BEAUTIFUL standing dropkick as he returns, doing a full flip as he does so, and then covers for another close fall! Benjamin now makes the tag into Haas and they double team the former champion.

They fire him across and Charlie catches him with a stungun, dropping him throat first across the top rope! Charlie then pulls up on his legs as Shelton comes flying in off of the ropes, leapfrogging Haas and comes crashing down onto Hart’s back! As Jesse rebounds off the ropes, Charlie hooks him for a German as Benjamin comes forward with a shuffle kick, but Hart ducks out of the way and Benjamin drills Haas in the mouth, knocking him straight down to his back! Shelton then comes in with a clothesline attempt, but Jesse goes low and catches him with a Full Nelson Slam, jamming him into the mat!

Hart now goes back stepping into his corner, falling into the ropes and tags in Benoit! The Wolverine immediately goes up to the top rope, extends his arms out to his side, and then flies off with the Swandive Head butt, crashing right into the laid out Haas! Benoit’s body rebounds up off the mat and he rolls around on the mat upon landing, rubbing and shaking his head out. This allows Kurt to reach in over the top rope and tag himself in to a thunderous pop from the crowd!

Kurt is right on Benoit, meeting him with rights hands and fires him across, dropping him with a clothesline! As soon as Benoit rebounds back up to his feet, Kurt goes low with an Olympic Slam, jamming him into the mat! The crowd is electric as Kurt is in firm control, and Orton goes up to the top rope, preparing to leap off with a cross body to halt the momentum, but Angle spots him out of the corner of his eye and races towards the corner, runs right up the ropes and takes Orton off with a belly-to-belly toss!!

Charlie O’Neale’s eyes bug out of her head on the outside as Nat cheers Kurt on loudly, and Kurt pops right back up to his feet and he PULLS DOWN THE STRAPS! However, as soon as he goes to grab Benoit’s ankle, Jesse steps in with a Hart Stomp, but Kurt catches it and locks HIM into the Angle Lock instead!

The crowd begins to chant “TAP! TAP! TAP!” as Kurt twists the ankle out of joint, and Hart is SCREAMING out in pain as both Benoit and Orton are down and out! After a few moments, Hart has no choice, and he begins to tap out like a wild man!!

The crowd goes INSANE as Angle has made him tap out once more, but Chioda calls it off, exclaiming that Benoit is the legal man! As soon as Kurt releases Hart, and the former champion goes rolling to the outside, Benoit comes in from behind with a German suplex on the champ, taking him up and over and rolls through with a second, and then a third!

As Angle is down on the mat, grabbing at the back of his head, Benoit rushes Team Angle’s corner, taking both Haas and Benjamin down to the floor. Benoit then goes back over to Angle, pulling him up and meets him with a chop across the chest, leaning him against the ropes and goes to fire him across, but Kurt reverses the whip and fires Benoit across, and as Benoit hits the ropes, Orton makes the blind tag into the match, but Kurt doesn’t see it and drops low as Benoit returns, taking him over with a leg lock into an Angle Lock as he returns!!

Back on the outside, an extremely angered Hart goes after Charlie Haas, ramming him head first into the ring post on the floor! He then measures Benjamin as he stands and DRILLS him in the mouth with a Hart Stomp, taking out the Tag Champs once and for all for the night! Back in the ring, Benoit is SCREAMING out in pain from the Angle Lock, and Kurt is screaming back at him to “TAP OUT, BENOIT! TAP!” However, Orton pulls himself up on the apron as the legal man and stalks in behind Angle, leaps high into the air and cradles his head, DRIVING him DEEP into the mat with the RKO!! Randy now dives onto Angle, pulling up on the near leg as Chioda drops down and counts the one, two, THREE!!


The crowd BOOMS with boos as “Evolve” blasts over the speakers, and Randy Orton has just PINNED the World Champion in his own hometown! Orton rolls off of Angle and onto his knees, his eyes gone completely wide now as he has even surprised himself! Charlie O’Neale claps her hands wildly on the outside for her man as Hart looks into the ring in complete shock himself, staring in at Orton with a blank expression.


Jax: “Randy Orton has just PINNED the World Champion! If he can do this next week, Randy Orton WILL be the Champion!


Orton pulls himself up and climbs the corner with a grin spread across his face, and he extends his arms out in celebration as Smackdown! goes off the air!
