Oh! It’s Time To Rock ‘N Roll!






The crowd pops as Trish Stratus’ silhouette is seen at the top of the stage, and they then cheer even louder as the beauty herself appears, pumping her index finger high into the air as she makes her way down to the ring, looking much better than she was the last time that we saw her last week.









The crowd continues to cheer wildly as the familiar theme “You Think I Ain’t Worth A Dollar, But I Feel Like A Millionaire” belonging to the NEW Women’s Champion, Athene, plays over the speakers! Moments later, the champion herself appears, making her way to ringside and stands across from Trish, un-strapping the championship from around her waist and raises it high above her head to a pop from the crowd!


Athene hands over the championship as the official calls for the bell, and this one on one match is now underway. Athene and Trish slap hands before circling one another, locking up. Athene quickly dominates the test of strength and tosses Trish back first to the mat. Trish nods her head and moves in once more, but this time, she quickly pulls Athene into a side headlock by her hair, dropping down to her knee, jolting Athene’s neck to a small round of boos from the fans. Caught by surprise, Athene battles back by shoving Trish off into the ropes and going for a lariat, but Trish goes low and comes off the far side with a flying forearm shot, dropping Athene to her back!

As soon as Athene rebounds up to her feet, Trish is right on her with a kick to the mid section, sending Athene flying through the middle ropes and to the outside floor! The crowd then pops as Trish heads out onto the apron and comes racing off of it with a Thesz Press, taking Athene down to the floor and begins to unload with a series of right hands!

Trish grabs Athene by her ring gear and rolls her back into the ring, giving the crowd a Jericho-like “Yeah, Baby!” before following Athene in. However, Athene meets Trish with a forearm shot to the mid section, and then rocks her back into the ropes with a right hand. She fires Trish across and catches her on the return with a military press, holding her above her head for a few moments before slamming her down to the mat, finally halting Trish’s momentum and taking control of this match.

As Trish rolls over onto her side, rubbing her lower back and pulling herself up, Athene is right on her with a forearm shot to the head, working her into the ropes. Trish, however, reverses the Irish whip and pulls Athene into a knee to the mid section and hooks her head, cradles it and springs off the ropes, going for the Stratusfaction Bulldog! However, Athene holds her ground and spins with Trish up in the air, and then she brings her crashing back first to the mat with a back suplex!

Athene drops down for the cover, but Trish kicks out, not about to give up that easily. Athene pulls Trish to her feet, and Trish comes up with stiff forearm shots, working Athene back into the ropes, but Athene reverses the Irish whip this time and catches Trish on the return with a tilt-a-whirl slam!

The crowd is split 50/50 in this match as Athene heads out onto the apron, making her way up to the top rope, with the crowd buzzing, expecting the extremely difficult 450 splash! However, Trish bolts up to her feet and lunges into the ropes, shaking them and trips Athene up, crotching her up top! Trish then backs off and takes a running start, doing a front handstand by holding onto the bottom rope, and takes Athene from the top and down to the mat with the Stratusphere hurricanrana! Trish throws herself onto Athene, pulling up on the leg for the one, two, TWO! Athene kicks out!

Trish pulls at her hair, in disbelief that Athene was able to kick out, arguing with the official. Trish now waits for Athene to stand and stalks in behind her, going for the Stratusfaction Bulldog once more, and once again, Athene stands her ground, flipping Trish back. However, Trish does a full flip and lands on her feet, regains her balance, and as soon as Athene turns around, she BLASTS her with a Trish kick to the head, dropping the champion to her back! Trish dives down onto her for the cover, getting the one, two, TWOOOOO!

Trish is now in complete shock, now finding out first hand what Lauren had to deal with at the King of the Ring. Meanwhile, Athene pulls herself up and shakes her head out, leaning against the ropes. Trish makes her way over and meets her with a forearm shot to the head and then stops, thinking on what to do next. Trish simply just continues to hammer away on Athene, rocking her with forearm shots to the head, and then goes to fire her across; however, Athene reverses the Irish whip and catches Trish on the return with a HUGE spinning spine buster, followed up by quickly stepping through and turning her into the Sharpshooter!

The crowd pops loudly as Athene leans back into it, making Trish scream out in pain, and after a few long, drawn out moments of trying to battle free, Trish is forced to tap out!


“Millionaire” blasts over the speakers as Athene has successfully defended her championship for the first time! She immediately releases the Sharpshooter as the bell sounds and is handed her championship, raising it above her head for a moment before going over to Trish, aiding her to her feet. Athene asks her if she’s alright, and Trish nods her head as she rubs her own back, congratulating Athene.














However, the crowd quickly boos loudly as VICTORIA slides into the ring, mugging Athene from behind! She then drills Trish right in the mouth with a thrust kick before picking up the Women’s Championship and staring at it with a deranged glare, and then as soon as Athene makes it back to her feet, Victoria decks her with the belt, right across the head!

Victoria tilts her head to the side, staring at the championship with her eyes wide, and as soon as Trish reaches her feet, she DRILLS her with the belt as well, dropping her straight to her back! “All The Things She Said” blasts over the speakers as Victoria stands between Athene and Trish, raising the championship above her head as we go to a commercial break!
