"Dyskrasia" by the Kidney Thieves comes on the speakers, as Authority enforcer Batista gives a slow jog out onto the ramp. The Demon slides into the ring and backs into the ropes, testing their pull. Batista then dips a bit, stretching all the way out and staring down the ramp.









"Die MF Die" answers him, sending out the "Phenomenon" AJ Styles. AJ comes out with a black satin vest and hood over his head. Styles comes slowly to the ring and leaps up on the apron, and back into it, then turns to face the crowd and yanks his hood off, revealing himself to the adoring crowd.


Batista turns Styles right around and goes for a punch. AJ ducks it and answers with an elbow to the jaw and sends another, putting Batista into the ropes and going to Irish whip him off. He reverses it and forces AJ into the other side, and waits him back. Styles comes flying off and goes up into a Batista spine buster, but cradles his head as he goes airborne and spins him around with a Tornado DDT!

Batista gets planted into the canvas and falls over to his back immediately! Styles goes onto him for the quick cover and gets a 1....2.....Th....NO!!! Batista fires his arm out, keeping AJ from getting a shocking win right out of the gates. Styles goes right onto the attack, dropping elbows on his back and forearms. AJ goes for another one, and Batista moves up to a knee and shoves him about halfway across the ring. Styles comes rushing forward again and this time Batista pops up and hits a TRUE spine buster! Dave backs up, clearing his eyes out from the DDT. Styles hit earlier and comes back over as he rolls to his stomach. Batista yanks down on his vest and pulls him to his feet by it. He measures and sends a hard shot that flails AJ into a corner. He pauses there for a bit and charges, driving repeated shoulder blocks into his midsection.

Batista then backs up and charges the corner, but AJ puts up a knee that he runs into. He backs up and Styles comes right out with a Pele kick to the back of his head, sending him to the canvas. Styles rolls back over and goes for a pin, but Batista shrugs his arm out again at 2. AJ goes up and stands on the 2nd turnbuckle and comes off with a double axe handle. Batista ducks under it and catches him in T-bone style, arching himself and pasting Styles into the canvas!

Batista then goes over to AJ and grabs him by the hair, slamming it between his legs and getting set to hoist him up in a Demon bomb! Styles feels himself go aloft and starts laying punches into his head as he's up. Batista tries to adjust but gets fists in his skull for his troubles, letting AJ drop down to the mat. Styles then kicks him in the midsection and starts trying for a Styles Clash, but the Demon won't go up for it. Styles finally gets slung over Batista's back, and the Demon moves forward, trying for a Hollycaust, but Styles reaches out and grabs onto the top rope, holding on for dear life!
















Suddenly, Lauren comes charging down from the backstage area and pauses by the ring apron, reaching up quickly and yanking back on Batista's foot. The Demon stumbles with it and falls forward onto the mat. Styles catches him as he hits and steps around his arms. AJ turns around and PASTES him into the canvas with a Styles Clash, rolling him over into a sunset flip position after it! The referee drops down and gives a 1...2....3 count as AJ Styles has taken the upset by getting a pinfall over Batista!!!



Lauren backs away from the ring, glaring at Batista, the camera catching her yell to him, "I TOLD you to leave me alone, motherf***er!!!"


Batista rolls up after a second or two, seeing her at the ramp and her harsh words. As Batista looks over, Lauren turns back, quickly heading back up the ramp before he exits the ring. The Demon stares at her and starts shaking in a rage, his veins bulging out of his neck, and finally roaring as Raw cuts to a commercial break!
