“Whatever” blasts over the speakers as Chris Benoit makes his way out for this Non-title match, walking down the ramp on his toes and slides into the ring, ignoring the fans jeers as awaits his most hated foe, Kurt Angle.

“I Don’t Suck!” then answers Benoit, and moments after, out steps the World Champion, Kurt Angle! Kurt stops at the top of the stage and stares down at Benoit, not breaking eye contact with him as his pyros blare up from behind him. Kurt then cracks his neck from side to side and makes his way down, climbing up the ring steps and enters the ring, handing the championship over almost immediately and meets Benoit in the middle of the ring,

The two stare one another down as referee Mike Chioda calls for the bell, officially starting this blood match! Angle and Benoit jaw at one another, with Kurt saying that Benoit’s Crossface just doesn’t freakin’ work, as was seen last week in his match with Randy Orton. Benoit decides to prove Angle wrong, and he immediately grabs him by the arm, pulling him down into the Crossface immediately!

Angle quickly counters, tugging at Benoit’s ankle, which causes the Crippler to protect it, which allows Angle to reverse the Crossface onto Benoit! The crowd pops for the early action, and Benoit quickly squirms free himself and backs off, getting right back to his feet. Angle meets Benoit and bumps chest with him, heard yelling out “SEE! It doesn’t work!”

Angered, Benoit STIFFS a chop across Angle’s chest, and it sends him stumbling back first into a corner. Benoit follows him in and meets him with three more hard chops, causing Kurt to caught up a lung. Benoit then fires Angle across and charges in after him, but he runs right into Kurt’s feet! As Benoit stumbles out of the corner, turning his back to Angle, Kurt hooks him by the waist and takes him over with a spinning German suplex, dropping him awkwardly onto his shoulder!

However, Kurt holds on and rolls through, going for a second! Knowing Angle so well, Benoit spins around him and takes HIM over with a German this time, holding on and rolling through himself! And, once again, knowing Benoit so well, Angle spins around, taking Chris over with a German!

The crowd is going ballistic for the back and forth action, and as soon as Kurt goes for another German, Benoit wraps his legs around Kurt and rolls forward, right into an ANGLE LOCK on the champion! Kurt SCREAMS out in pain as Benoit twists his ankle out of joint, and after a few moments, Kurt manages to pulls Benoit down into the Crossface!

The crowd, the announcers, and everyone around the world are sitting on the edge of their seats as Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit are putting on an exhibition! Benoit finally makes his way to the ropes, but as soon as he latches onto them, Kurt does a roll, rolling Benoit back into the middle of the ring with the Crossface still in tact! However, as soon as Angle finishes with the roll, Benoit is able to use the momentum to free himself and lock KURT in the Crossface now!

Chioda is at the point now where he doesn’t know WHO to ask if they give, and he shrugs his shoulders, just watching on! Just as it looks as though Angle is about to Tap Out, he somehow manages to snatch Benoit’s ankle, locking on the Angle Lock while STILL IN the Crossface!

The crowd is going INSANE as both men are SCREAMING in pain, trying to make the other man tap out before he does so himself! However, Benoit decides he’s had enough and attempts to rolls Angle across the ring to break the Angle Lock, but due to the hold, Kurt pins his own shoulders to the mat, and Benoit decides to halt the rol mid way through, and Angle doesn’t even realize it as Chioda counts his shoulders down for the one, two, THREE!

“Whatever” blasts over the speakers as Chris Benoit has just somehow pinned the champion, without him even KNOWING IT! Benoit releases the Crossface, and as soon as he does so, Kurt pops up to his feet, tugging on the Angle Lock!

Upon hearing the music, Kurt looks confused until Chioda orders him to break the hold, explaining to him that he’s just been pinned! Kurt releases the hold, and Benoit goes rolling out of the ring in a tremendous amount of pain, but grinning his toothless grin nonetheless!

Angle argues with Chioda, claiming that his shoulders weren’t on the mat, but Chioda points Kurt’s attention to the Smacktron that shows the clear replay of Benoit pinning the champion, one, two, three!

Benoit stumbles up to his feet and throws his arms above his head in victory as he stumbles back up the ramp, leaving Kurt behind in the ring with his hand son his hips, not believing what just went down!
