~After the commercial break, we catch up with Chris Benoit backstage in a locker room where he is unwrapping the tape from around his wrists, hyped up about his HUGE pinfall victory over the World Champion.~

~The General Manager, Stephanie McMahon, then enters the room, grinning widely as she approaches Benoit.~ Chris Benoit, that was superb� No one saw that coming� apparently not even Kurt. ~She grins.~ And that�s why, at SummerSlam, you�re going to get a shot this time at the World Championship� in a Triple Threat match with Kurt Angle and Jesse Hart!

~Benoit raises a brow, caught by surprise.~ Yeah?

Steph: ~She nods her head.~ You earned it.

~Benoit grins a toothless grin, until the door then flies open once more, and in barges Jesse Hart, red faced and pissed off!~

-Jesse storms in and speaks out in his low, bass-filled voice.- What in the HELL? -Glares straight ahead at Stephanie.- SummerSlam is MY shot, not HIS! -Points over to Benoit without even looking at him.-

~Stephanie cowers back a step as Jesse gets right in her face, but speaks up, holding her hands out in front of her.~ Jesse, calm down and let me explain�

Jesse: Explain WHAT? You�re selling me out�

~Benoit steps in between the two.~ Listen�

-Hart throws a hand up, and stares straight ahead at Stephanie as he speaks to Benoit.- I�m not talking to you� -He now addresses Stephanie, but Stephanie begins to speak.-

Steph: This isn�t what it seems� I have a plan�

~Benoit interrupts her and grabs Jesse by the arm, spinning him around.~ Jesse, shut up and listen.

-Jesse�s eyes go wide as he stares down at Benoit.-

Benoit: I just beat Kurt Angle, and this is MY shot. But� as Stephanie�s trying to tell you, there are better odds with numbers, if you know what I mean.

~Stephanie nods with a grin as Jesse absorbs the information before slowly breaking out into a smirk of his own, and the three nod their heads as the feed is cut with Jax speaking up, exclaiming that at SummerSlam it will be basically a two-on-one!~
