Subject: Growing Up

Firstly, congratulations on the website Gareth - it's a great idea and provides a much needed nostalgia hit from the days at King's.

Of all the people who've reappeared on the site Lachlan has to be the most important blast from the past. Hearing that he is enjoying life and is (and was) mature enough to rise above the culture of bullying that existed at school is amazing. Sure, we all had our differences but most people got a lot of shit for no good reason. Lachlan (like some other readers) has left King's and Grantham behind him and yet can look back and examine his own character (see his articles on this site). Meeting up with people who you considered to be tossers or who indeed may have been unpleasant to you at King's would be an interesting and hopefully rewarding experience - with any luck they will have changed and grown up.

Occasional crap bits aside, King's was a fantastic experience none of us will forget.
