'Mortal Wombat' was in fact called 'Immortal Wombat'. It was a fantastic game written for the 'green-screens' in the library in the days before the school bought a PC. It is worth noting that not only did the purchase of this new computer destroy years of research and development, but also replaced such games as 'Immortal Wombat' (and there were many, many other great classics) with a 3D Golf game, which although graphically superior, lacked the homegrown gameplay of my products. Furthermore, it put me out of a job.
Also of (slight) interest was that the Headmaster would insist on reviewing all our titles prior to their full commercial release, to check that there was no pornographic material contained within. Given that our graphic representing a wombat required a certain leap of the imagination, it would have been some feat to render a naked, sweating, anally-bearded ladyboy on a green-screen. This is not to say that I lacked the imagination to produce such an image, merely that the technology was insufficient.
As former Kingsmen you may be interested to know that I am currently working on a time-machine with which to travel back to my school-days. I intend to relive my education as a suave gentleman womanizer. So if I am ever to be successful then that is how you will remember me now, depending on your own personal theory of Back to the Future and time-travel in general.
