Firstly, he also claimed to be captain of the GB Athletics team as well.

Secondly, and this is the truth although i know it sounds unbelievable - andrew thompson was last seen it the dj box at a william robertson school disco (my mum works there). he got chatting to my mum and from what i can remember he has kids, although i can't remember how many. not sure if he's still engaged to that shotputter though..........
