No matter what came His way he always knew that ultimately the fight was with Satan and not man whom Satan used. We wrestle not with flesh and blood----(Eph. 6:12) Satan wins when we let the trials get to us and weaken us spiritually. Caren, if you count on what you have built to stand, it will not. Only what you let Jesus build through you will stand. We have no righteousness on our own. We are to be "clay" in the Potter's hand. We are to be shaped in His will for us through surrendering to His will. Nothing I have done will stand. All that He has done through me will stand. If we can learn to be tools in the Master's hand we will be used greatly of Him and everything will stand.
