I guess that I told you about how I got stuck in the snow bank after the february blizzard and in the process of getting it out I messed up my engine. I have been trying to get another one without borrowing myself into the poor house. I finally did. A '97 Jeep Grand Chrokee Lorado. I got it last Monday and it is beautiful. Only one rust spot on the entire body and that is a spot near the rear licence plate. Everything is electronic (door locks, windows ETC). The gas milage won't be as great as my little Chevy was but the comfort factor will make up for that and with the selectable four wheel drive I don't think that I'll ever have to worry about getting stuck again.

Glad for you Gerry with your new vehicle! God gave me a new Ford Focus in December of 2010 and I love it!

The small car that I had was good for about 5 years for me. Pat liked it too. She has vision problems now and had to quit driving until they get fixed which may or may not happen. I was going to keep it and see how long I could make it last but it was starting to cost me money. This recent snow storm in Febrary did a number on it so it was time to get rid of it. My dealer found me on which wouldn't get stuck easily and so I looked at it and liked the idea of the four wheel drive. In my 38 years of military service I drove a lot 0f Jeeps and it looked very good to me. The price was right so I bought it.

Glad to hear it. That four-wheel drive will come in very handy in the Massachusetts weather. I'm still driving my trusty 1991 Toyota Camry LE. Just had quite a bit of work done on it and it drives like a dream. It will be my last car and I can't afford another one but I'm a happy camper.
