One of the funny things about the whole deal was when I got to the minor emergency clinic the nurse was cleaning the wound. I had already explained what had happened and she was cleaning the bottom of my foot around the hole. She worked her way on up to the top of my foot and exclaimed: "Gee, there is a hole here on top too!" DUH!! Tough? Not really.
