but I've had a full plate with Mom. She has had a series of strokes and is now in the nursing home with her left side affected. She can move her fingers and hand on the left side and lift her arm slightly. It is about the same with her left leg. Her speech is pretty good and her mind has not been affected much.

Also Dale has been regressing. She has been running low grade fever for about 2 1/2 months and is in quite a bit of pain.

We are going to try and get another appointment tomorrow and see if the doc. can find out what is going on. It does not appear to be Crohns related but it could be. She is down to 100 lbs or less.

She has already had 2 or 3 trips to the doctor for this and taken 2 rounds or 3 of antibiotic but nothing is working.

I would ask you all to keep her and mom in your prayers and I will post again when time permits.

Everyone has medical problems. Pat has surgery on her right big toe Friday afternoon. They gave her a nerve block to numb the foot. When she came home she couldn't tell if her foot was on the floor or whatever. Her sister bought a Pizza for supper. While I took Carol home Pat went to bed. About 3:30 AM she had to get up to go to the bathroom. I was sound asleep and woke to the sound of a crash and a groan. She was laying on the floor. I was unable to pick her up so I called 911. Three firemen responded and got her up and helped her into the bathroom. On Saturday she was in pain so I took her to the emergency room at UMASS hospital. They took Xrays and then sent her home with a perscription for medication for pain. Satuday evening she got a call from someone at the hospital who informed her that her ankle was fractured. She has a appointment with the surgan who fixed her toe and The emercency room doctor had notified her of the problem. She has an air cast on her foot and we are waiting to find out how bad it is.

I checked in here Sunday and then got busy doing other stuff yesterday and am just now seeing this. Will definitely keep mom and Dale lifted in prayer, Hillbilly, as I do already for Dale. I had hoped Dale's fever was gone and she was back to feeling a little better, darn it!
Gerry, I'm sorry to read about Pat, too. I guess this will delay her surgery? I'll keep her in my prayers, too.
