Dale is still running constant fever and hurts all over her body. She is on pain meds all the time.

We don't know what is going on but we have another appointment with the doctor Thurs.

My mom is struggling with depression over her condition. Her mind is still good but she has little movement in the left side. Her left arm will move some with effort. Her left leg has a little mobility in lifting and moving side to side but that is about it. Her speech might be affected a little but not much.

Thanks for the prayers and I will start posting agains as I can find the time to write.

I still have to work until Nov. 2 then I am retired. Trying to keep up with all that is going on is a challenge.

I still have the place to take care of plus I am having to mow and keep up with the house her mother left when she passed away.

Oh well, God is still good and we are depending on Him.

God bless all.

Dwight

For your mom's depression and triple the prayers for Dale to shake this fever. And quadruple the prayers for you to keep your strength up as their caregiver. It is a lot for one to handle, but with God's help, I know you will be able to persevere.
Please don't worry about the studies for now. I think you have enough on your mind, don't you? I will check in again soon to see how the doctor visit goes for Dale. Please give her my love, will you?

Yes Hillbilly - please just keep us posted, if you think of it, on how you and Dale and Mom are - otherwise count on our prayers and focus on the Lord for help with the trials you and they are experiencing. Maybe Dori and Gerry and I can post an encouraging scripture along with our prayer support from time to time.

In your unfailing love you will lead the people you have redeemed. In your strength you will guide them to your holy dwelling. Exodus 15:13

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. Hebrews 13:8

He loves you Hillbilly. I know you know that. When I am experiencing trials sometimes I need to be reminded.

Found another good one for you Hillbilly and for Gerry:

Dale and I certainly need the prayers and I figure you all need the practice (big grin).

Seriously though I certainly appreciate your support and prayers.

While on posting scripture; here is one of my favorites when I need reminding of the unfailing hand of God:

Isaiah 41:10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

I will let you know what we find out Thurs. if anything.

Now I have to go look for a good scriptural verse to share.

I bought her an electric blanket yesterday because she was having a lot of trouble with being cold especially on her feet. Probably because of impaired blood circulation and she woke up this morning without as much pain. Slept almost all night without having to take any medication. We were very pleasantly surprised.

I will keep praying for Dale--and I have asked others for their prayers for her. Am back from my trip, so will catch up with the latest study tonight or in the morning.

I agree with her, Hillbilly. You need to focus your energy on Dale and Mom and we will keep the home fires burning here with a little scripture and continued prayers for you all.
God bless!

You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.

As you and Dale are at the doctor's today, I am keeping you lifted in prayer. I found a little piece of scripture that might sooth you a bit:

Isaiah 43:2-3
(KJV)

2 When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
3 For I am the Lord thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour.

Dale has an upper and lower G.I. set for the 26th of Oct.
The doctor feels it very well could be related to the Crohns and needs to look for active Crohns in her digestive system. He prescribed a different pain med. to try and give her relief until the diagnosis can be made.

If we strike out with Crohns as the cause it will be Vanderbilt and her lung specialist that we try next.

Please keep her in your prayers.

Love you all.
Dwight
