I never knew that about the number 5 in the Bible. I knew about 7 being the number of completion and when Mom died there were a LOT of 7 "coincidences" ... so very many that it was obviously all orchestrated and ordained.

that the true child of God will see his hand at work upon reflection and meditation concerning events in our lives. Others, as you say, look at them as conincidences.

The person who is not born of the Spirit will never see Him at work unless God is bringing judgment. Even then he may not see it or in the case of some see it and curse God as they will in the tribulation. (see Revelation 9:20-21, 16:9-11)
