in the past but if I have I think it is worth bringing up again.

A pastor gave an illustration of faith and trust in his sermon and told this anecdote to be true.

A man went down into his basement and the basement light was out. His little girl saw him go down into the darkness and called out to her daddy.

"Daddy, can I come down with you?"

"Sure honey just come on down."

"But daddy it's dark and I can't see."

"That's ok honey, just come over to the edge toward my voice and jump down and I will catch you."

"But daddy, I can't see you".

"That's ok, I can see you and if you will just jump I'll catch you."

"Are you sure daddy?"

" Yes honey, I'm sure, just trust me and jump".

Off sailed the little girl into her daddy's arms to be caught and hugged for her trust and love.

That is the way God would have us to be. If He tells us to do something we should trust him that He will see us safely through any danger or trouble we might encounter.
