In reply to: dori 's message, "Hey there, Hillbilly" on 07:53:12 03/06/11 Sun

although the high doses of prednisone keep her jittery and irritable. She started on 50mg and will be down to 35mg. starting tomorrow. She has been dropping 5mg. every couple of weeks or so.

She has now had both eyes operated on for cataracts and has done well with her surgeries. She had lens implants done while having the cataracts removed so she is seeing far better than before. Her left eye is 20/20. Her right eye has not been tested as yet but will probably be tested later in the week.

Dale's mom seems to be improving slowly and the swelling in her clotted leg seems to be going down. She is still having bouts with diarrhea at times and she is quite weak.

I have been working on Daniel 11 and it does require much more study than other chapters. I am having to go back and read history to get the details in order. I don't want to teach error. This chapter spans at least 300 years and would cover the time of the Maccabees so there is much listed that cannot be found in the Bible per se.

Dori, if reading these studies ever becomes a chore and a need to instead of a want to please let me know. I don't want anyone reading because they feel obligated. I don't mind the work and indeed consider it a blessing to be able to as long as any are being blessed by the studies and want them.

Have a great day and look forward to any input into the last two posts.

God bless always,
Dwight

Thanks for the update on Dale and her Mom. Both seem to be improving and that is a blessing indeed. Praise God!
And I didn't mean to imply that it was a chore to read your studies. It has NEVER been a chore, always a pleasure. I just meant to say I needed to respond to both of them so you'd know I had read them and appreciated them. I know many people read them, but obviously understand them better than I do and don't feel the need to respond. I sometimes need two or three readings before I have it all sorted out in my head.
By all means take all the time you need on Daniel. And you can post in several small posts if you need to. We're not going anywhere. 8-)
Thanks for all the work you do for us, sweet friend.

I just know that sometimes over a long span of time that things get old. I just don't want to wear anyone out. As long as you are good with it I am good with it, but keep in mind the request just in case it does start getting to be a chore. ;-)

If it ever becomes a chore, you'll be the first to know... grin. And, by the same token, if you ever tire of doing these, then tell us and we will understand if you slow down the pace a bit (as long as you don't stop altogether!). I want it to always be rewarding for you as well. I know you struggle with your eyes and sometimes I feel guilty asking you for more time. Thank you for continuing on. 8-)
