I'm so amazed at the wealth of information you come up with on each of these passages. Where do you find it? I know it is all scripture, but I sure don't get all of that detail when I read the simple words. I'm flabbergasted!
BTW... sorry I haven't been here for awhile. Was in Nashville til Monday night and have been playing ketchup ever since. This reading was jam packed with information--all setting the stage for the Messiah's appearance. I think this one will need a couple more readings for it to all sink in. LOL!

The time period that is covered in Daniel 11 stretches from around 400 B.C. until God begins to speak again in what we now call the New Testament. There were 400 years of God's silence from the last of the minor prophets until the events in the Gospels.

The events in chapter 11 must therefore be found in the history of that time. It is amazing at the detail that God gave in a few short words that match the events that took place leading to the "4th beast" of Daniel 7:7. The 4th beast is also the legs and feet of the statue in Nebuchadnezzar's vision of chapter 2.

Where I come up with this is through research of others works. I don't have special insight any more than another who will study and look always asking God for the answers.

With almost 4 decades of Bible study I should know a lot more than I do.

James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

Matthew 7:7-8 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

That I don't know more than I do shows I have not been as diligent in asking and study as I should have been.

Considering you work a full time job, help care for a wife with many medical complications and raise a small herd of goats and heaven only knows what other critters, that you have studied this much and are able to put those studies into such well-worded, knowledgeable segments is truly a demonstration of God's listening to you. He knows his sheep, brother.
Thank you for taking time away from those studies to put them on this forum for your small gathering of faithful students and readers of the Word. We do appreciate it more than you can know.
