No one was home.

Is there anything left of Michigan? :)

Joy in the Rhodes household. Both twins asked Jesus into their hearts at Vacation Bible School last night.

All blood relatives now saved. We will have a great homecoming one day around the throne.

The only family member I don't believe is saved is the girls' mother, my daughter in law. Still praying for her.

Hope your trip was enjoyable.

Working on the last Daniel post then I will concentrate on the Genesis to try to finish it up much quicker.

What a joy that must have brought to your heart! And maybe they will eventually bring their mom to Jesus, too. It is something to pray for, indeed.
Michigan was beautiful. We were supposed to get rain and severe thunderstorms Saturday and Sunday--our two main days there--but we prayed on the way up to God to please take the rain we were supposed to get and send it to Texas, who really needed it. It worked! We had a gorgeous day on Saturday and we thanked the Lord and asked him if it would be too much to ask for just one more day. If we could just not have rain the whole day, even, we'd happily take rain on Monday as we were leaving. Boy did he ever take us up on the bargain. Monday morning, after a beautiful, rainfree Sunday, the skies opened up and it poured as we left da U.P. We thanked God again for answering our prayers and asked if he'd watch us to get home safely on the long 14 hour trip. God was definitely with us the whole trip. Isn't God great?
Unfortunately, others haven't been so lucky and need more prayer. One is a gal who I know at the PuppyCam board. Her name is Dreamy (Diane) and she was in remission for cancer, but it has returned with a vengeance and it is a cancerous cyst on her breast that is inoperable. I don't think she's going to make it, but God does work miracles and I figured it couldn't hurt to bring a prayer request to you and Connie (are you still out there, sis?) to ask God for a miracle or at least for some relief to the intense pain she's feeling. Also, continued prayers for my two friends Bill and Cecil, both undergoing treatment for Prostate cancer, that they will have continued success. Thank you for your prayers.
I have been gone for half the days of May, June and into July, but am back now for awhile (got another Branson trip weekend after next) and will be keeping closer touch here at our little room.
Thank you for not getting discouraged with us and leaving, Hillbilly. You are a constant source of peace to me--just knowing you are here and working so hard on these studies for us. We all get so busy in our everyday concerns that we need a refuge like this. Thank you for blessing us.
