The lost sheep has returned with apologies for my long absence. I am planning on catching up on your series on Daniel this weekend. I really appreciate all the effort you've put into it even though I'm sure you thought I didn't. Have been having some stomach and eye problems and a general overall blah feeling but that really doesn't excuse my neglect of this forum. Again my sincere apologies and grateful thanks. Luvs ya!

good to see you here again. You have been missed.

Having said that let me add something that is important to me. If you are back because of a little "arm twisting" then I feel bad for the reason. I wouldn't want anyone to feel compelled to to join in out of a sense of obligation or for fear of hurting a feeling.

I'm not one to try and get people to read what I write. It is what it is and hopefully someone will get a better understanding of God and His word through reading.

I feel there have been many here who could have contributed and there may be a few silent readers who could greatly contibute to this little hideaway of Dori's.

Connie, if these studies are not for you then I don't want you to feel you need to be here from a sense of duty or anything like that.

I would be tickled to see you and others take a greater interest but I also realize I am not the greatest writer that ever tapped on a keyboard. Putting belief's and doctrine's in coherent words is many times a chore an on several occasions I have been left feeling totally inadequate to put in words that which I would like to convey.

I take you as a good friend and appreciate your e-mail forwards. I can't look at the videos and some of the presentations won't play on my old system but I truly appreciate your thinking of me.

May God bless you always,
Dwight

Sorry... I couldn't resist. I'm glad you showed up and do hope you'll join us more often. I have been absent a lot, too, what with all the trips we've been taking, so I know your absence doesn't signify disinterest. I felt guilty for not stopping in here more frequently and apologized to HB. He forgave me, too. 8-)
I try now to make this my first visit of the morning--before I start getting busy in all the admin duties at the PuppyCam (we have over 2000 members, with at least 150-200 posting daily) and then again before I go to bed. There are two of my best times of the day.
Love you, sistah C!

Don't think for a minute that there's been any arm twisting to bring me back to this forum. And as for you not being the greatest writer that ever tapped a keyboard, I definitely disagree with you there. You explain everything so full and complete and make it so easy to understand some of the most difficult passages in the Bible. I truly believe God gave you that special gift and you should never feel inadequate. Any inadequacy is all on my part.

The neglect has been all on my part and I have no excuse and I do apologize to you. As I said I've been having some other problems. As a matter of fact I went to the doctor last Tuesday. He sent me to the lab for some tests which I had done last Thursday....and nothing since. I'm so disgusted with him. Wish I had another primary doctor but he was the only one taking new patients when my cancer surgeon told me I needed to have a primary care physician. Gonna try to get hold of him today....grrrr!

Well I guess I owe my primary care physician an apology. I finally heard from his office and all my tests were fine and apparently the stomach problem I was having was nothing serious and can be taken care of with Prilosec. What a relief! Coincidentally I also had my six month checkup with my cancer doctor and, again, everything is all clear and he's very pleased with me considering my age. (The old gray mare ain't what she used to be though....giggle)

You're a YOUNG gray mare, missy. At least the Connie Girl I met last February. It was so fun to finally get to meet you. Too bad Charlie was such a wet blanket. He didn't mean to be--he was sick and didn't know it. Maybe next time, eh? 8-)

Charlie wasn't the only wet blanket....it was also raining buckets which is unusual for here but we always welcome it. I hated it that Charlie was feeling so bad but he was such a gentleman about it. What a sweetie husband you got.
