So many times in the Bible great events happen by a well of water.

Even when great events happen around bitter water God can make the bitter sweet. Exodus 15:22-26.

I like your take on the analogy of the servant being thirsty and God being thirsty. It is true that God does thirst for worship, praise and service.

The woman at the well in John 4 also comes to mind also and if we will think a moment Jesus was thirsty for water and worship and the woman was thirsty for God's Spirit without realizing her great need for that everlasting water of life.

So many today have that same thirst but will starve to death for lack of it when it is within their reach and free for the asking.

Many don't realize just how easy it is to have the Lord answer their needs--if it is His will.
I so enjoyed this study and the remarks by Julie and your reply. Coming to this place after a few words from you two and Connie is like a visit to the well. 8-)
