Amen. Saw this yesterday when I came in here, our praying for her, assuming this is your wife. But doesn't matter, of course.

Yes Sandy it is my wife. We have been married nearly 45 years.

Dale seems better. They took the tube they had inserted through her nose and down to her stomach out about 2 1/2 hours ago.

She is on liquids for the day and if she does ok with that she will receive semi-solids. If she does ok with that they will progress to more and more solid food.

As of today she had been about 8 days without food and was quite weak.

The x-rays don't show any blockage presently so we are hopeful the closed intestine has opened again. The Crohn's flare up caused her intestine to swell until it swelled shut. At least that is what the doctor thinks has happened.

We won't know whether she has escaped surgery until we know for sure the digestive track is opening all the way through.

I thank you for your prayers for her and ask that you keep praying. This has been a rough time for her but our trust is in the Lord who we know through experience is the Great Physician.

God bless all,
Dwight
