I was worried about you too. Glad you let us know you're safe and sound. BTW do you know how the elephant sanctuary is faring? I have a special feeling for those magnificent animals and check out the ele-cam several times a day. Currently it's down which is understandable but I do worry about the elephants.

about 14" of rain some areas got 17 or more here in West Tennessee. Tornadoes were here and there with the closest one touching down about 15 miles away. Had some hail Sat. morn. but it was small.

My sons-in-law's Dad had 12 inches of water in his house and my pastor had a couple of inches in his house.

Lots of cars under water. Nashville seems to have been harder hit than here. Had one report of a house washed out on interstate 40. There is around 50 to 60 miles of I-40 closed between Jackson and Nashville. Memphis was hit pretty hard also but I don't think it was as bad as Nashville. Nashville has the Cumberland River running through it and it is way out of it's banks.

Towns like Dyersburg in northwest Tennessee are still in trouble as the water is still expected to rise from run off for another day or so. Some towns have been completely cut-off for a while.
