Have you noticed how few of the later Christian music has failed the quality found in the old hymns? There are a few that you can see the touch of God has been applied but they are very few. We love the old songs because they were sung to us by our moms and grandmas. But in doing so, there's no reason to discard the old songs--they still ring true.
