In reply to: Hillbilly 's message, "Dan. Chap. 5 vss. 7-12 Post #25" on 22:19:18 09/18/09 Fri

that Hymn: DO YOU SEE THE HEBREW CAPTIVE KNEELING?
I like the words and if the melody is as good as the words it is a great song. A hymn to remind one of the deliverance that is in God if we will but submit to Him and keep our knees worn from prayer.

Can you imagine 21 days of prayer (Dan. 10:2 with Dan. 10:12)? Have you ever tried even 1 hour of fervent prayer? (Mark 14:37-38) After 5 or 10 minutes you get to feeling everything is repetition and start feeling guilty for not being able to pray more earnestly.

Daniel may not have spent 21 days on his knees but I will venture to say that for the 21 days he was constantly in communication with God in prayer and intercession.

I will try again from work tomorrow. Great to see you in here with Hillbilly, Julie. I have been away for far too long. I will get back in the groove--starting tonight! 8-)
