Just kidding, of course. I agree with you that he is a charlatan who came to power at a time when the voters were looking for a saviour. They will eventually see that they were duped, but it may be way too late by then.

I think this could apply to him also with his ego and arrogance. He really believes the lie that's been spread about him that he is a messiah and, sadly, so do too many Americans.
