while not Biblical and not considered to be a Christian nor Jewish proper burial does not limit God's ability.

People by the thousands have been immolated by fires, volcanoes and bombs throughout man's history. If there was a possibility of of being totally consumed by fire preventing a resurrection then it would have been mentioned in the Bible.

God created the body and He can re-creat it.

I certainly do not want to be cremated but it has to do with the examples given in the Bible over and over concerning burial. Fire has been around for a long long time and the Jewish people never cremated. Early Christians never cremated. It was only with pagan and idol worshipping peoples that cremation was practiced until recent times. Cost is bound to be a factor and also space in some places but I think also it reflects man's getting furter and further from the Word of God

I agree with Hillbilly. Because we are going to get a new body. At least those that know Christ, receiving everlasting life apparently will, according to scripture. But will everyone? And will it look the same, as Jesus supposedly did when appearing to those that knew Him? The fleshly body we are in now returning to the dust apparently, because of God speaking it would do so way back in Gen. 3:19 supposedly. If that is what that does mean. But not ones soul. As that seems to live on according to what Jesus said in Mt. 10:28 anyway.

Just some of my thoughts on being cremated.
So I don't believe that being cremated is going to make any difference as Hillbilly says. Although the thought to me does. I find what that scripture says there to verify that. But understand possibly why the Jews would believe what they do about it too.

Good you got your old place back up to Dori.

Luv Sandy

As we go through the resurrections we will spend quite a bit of time on our new bodies. The Bible has quite a bit of information on the nature of our new bodies.

I want one that is more slender for sure. And without all the white hair and the wrinkles that are cropping up too.

In other words, a complete make over. :-)
