Hello... We are right now on Karpathos and can give you all a quick update of the nudist beaches. Lefkos is still a very nice beach and there are many nudist there. When we were at the beach yesterday there were many couples, some singel women and some singel men. A nice mix of people.The beach is a little bit windy and the waves can be a bit high but nothing dangerous.

2 days ago we were at apela beach. The beach is very beautiful. When you come down to the beach from the taverna, walk all the way to the far end of the beach. There is a big cliff in the end of the beach but look to the right. There is a small path that will take you to the other side of that cliff. The walk can be a little dangerous, be sure to have shoes on you and be careful. On the other side there is a nice beach and the beach was 100% nudist. The water is very clear and the beach is clean.

Today we were at amopi. If you read the captains report it says that there is no sign of nude people. Thats wrong. the beach in the middle is still nude, maybe not 100% nude but we think that it depends on who is first at the beach in the morning. Today there was we and 2 other couple that was nude and there were also 2 couples that was not nude but they did not seem to have a problem that there were nude people at the beach. SO TO ALL NUDIST AT KARPATHOS: VISIT AMOPI. The beach is amazing. Very calm, clean water and perfect for snorkeling. We think this is the best beach on Karpathos.

Can someone give us some more info about some nice beaches? Where is Golden sand located on the island?
