Hello Liz,

I just approved your message and wanted to post a message at the top so you would see it...it's easy to get lost in the other thread.

I'm so very sorry that you have been given a poor diagnosis. I will post more for you at a later time when I can dedicate more time to the post. For now, please know that I am praying for you and your little one!

Please post here as often as you like. I'll write again tonight or tomorrow.

Take care,

Shellie

Dear Liz,

My heart aches for you! Hydrops is a pretty bad diagnosis, but even still, I always hold on to hope. I certainly don't want to give you false hope, but I think even in the worst cases, it's always worth it to say a prayer and hope for a miracle.

In the event that a miracle isn't given to you, you will at least have the comfort of knowing that you gave your baby a chance and made your womb the safe and nurturing place that it was designed to be. For this, I applaud you for continuing your pregnancy.

As far as having your child buried if he/she passes, that's a personal choice. I myself would have a funeral and burial. I've heard (you'd have to check into this to make sure) that some funeral homes will provide services for babies free of charge.

Liz, I will continue to pray for you and your little one. Please post here as often as you like. Also, my email box is always open to you. I'd love to keep in touch and do my best to be a shoulder to lean on in this difficult time.

I'm enclosing a true story about a baby born with Hydrops:
