Berjaya is isolated and they do not encourage you to venture outside.The "road" between
>Pasir Panjang is not too hard to trekk on your own as there is a Tar road.Anyway, do be careful if you are swimming at the Berjaya Redang Resort, eventhough it is not facing the South China Sea, it has one of the worst undercurrent sea. Just today,YES today. 13th Nov, a young girl drowned at the Berjaya Beach Resort! And guess what, there wasn't a life guard around!It was the guest who had to try to save the poor girl.The Life guard only came later....wait, i think it was the maintenance pool man who came. (Wonder if they will get a law suit for this) Talk about 5 star quality and security. Oh yes, the food sucks too and the charges exorbitant!

Anyway,do enjoy yourself at redang.( and stay out of the Sea, stick to their pool, well at least you know you will come back alive...............)
