Subject: pageants vs hubby

I have a question for you pageant moms. What is the secret to letting your husband do pageants without the fussing? My husband is constantly throwing him a fit about pageants. He think its a BIG WAISTE, and that pageant directors and pageant designers take us for all we are worth just to tell us that our children are pretty! SOMEONE TELL ME THE SECRET!
