Subject: Question for Scrapiron -- regarding Warriors loss to SGT. Slaughter

Hey Scrapiron..

I always thought it was ridiculous that Warrior lost the SGT. Slaughter. I know he lost because of interference, and didn't Slaughter but the camel clutch on him? There is no way that Slaughter could have beaten Warrior. It is TOTALLY BOGUS.

Anyway I have heard rumors that WWF wasn't doing as well with Warrior as champ....and they felt that they had to have Warrior lose and then have Hogan back as champ again.....by having Hogan beat Slaughter. I don't really follow the ratings or buy rates, but I found this all really hard to believe that sales/ratings were down with Warrior as champ because the fans loved Warrior. I think that Hogan's jealousy was the problem and he wanted to be champ again because he couldn't deal with not being the top guy anymore. I bet he cried and whined to Vince saying he wanted the title back.

I also heard rumors that later on Warrior wanted a title shot and Hogan would not give him one and that Warrior was pissed and that was part of the reason that Warrior left the WWF. Can you shed any light on all this?

Thanks..
