I agree, Warrior is a little harsh when it comes to addressing the downfall of people, he hasn't walked in their shoes, so he shouldn't judge them so harshly. We're all human and we all make mistakes. And I agree with yo master on the whole Bret Hart issue.

But I want to respond to all the anti-Ultimate Warrior comments going around. In TJ Madigans post on slam sports wrestling he says things like Warrior was "hideous in the ring" and "Warrior sucked when it came to wrestling fundementals". Has he forgotton the single most important thing wrestling is all about....ENTERTAINMENT. No one could entertain the crowd more than the Ultimate Warrior, Madigan even admits later in his post that he couldn't help but be absorbed in by the Warrior's performance, thats what the Ultimate Warrior was all about. All these people saying Warrior had no technique or 'real' wrestling skills just answer this, why the fuck do you need techniue when a whole match is scripted and rehearsed? If you want a combat sport that requires 'real' conditioning and skill watch the mixed martial arts like UFC and PRIDE. Wrestling is totally different, these talented actors/wrestlers just put on a show for the audience, THATS IT PERIOD.

You think ten years from now any one of these 'new generation' wrestlers like Goldberg, Brock Lesner, Triple H or Kurt Angle will be remembered, HELL NO!, but you know who will be, people like Ultimate Warrior and Hulk Hogan, who apparantly have 'zero mat skills'. The kind of love they recieved from fans worldwide will never be experienced by another wrestler.

At least Warrior brought something different to the table, his style was unique and extraordinary. Even if you didn't like wrestling, his performance was so intense and powerful you just had to watch him.

All the critisicm, especially the critisicm from other wrestlers is just out of jealousy, they all know they'll never have what the Warrior had.

Warrior forever.
