I don't think it was a copy... lots of differences.

The rebirth of Hulkamania was a great moment I witnessed in person, Toronto Skydome! It was retribution time for the Hulkster and man, what a feeling it was to be there cheering for him at every shot he gave to the Rock...

It was an unexpected turn of events for everybody in the WWE. But what a great way for Hogan to buckle up his career and finish it as Red and Yellow Hollywood Hogan!!!

Logically Hogan can't beat the Rock, but that night, he should have won! After kicking out from the rock bottom and hulkin' up, what a great finish it would have been if he has had a full 3 count... illogical, I know! But it would have been logic for that night, and that night only!

Better than Warrior vs Hogan? I don't think so... because back then both of them were on top! The Hogan/Rock match was more like a Ali vs Lewis confrontaion. But the Warrior/Hogan confrontation was defenetly ''best vs best'', champion vs champion.

That's my point of view... too different in the making to be compared those matchs are.
