I don't think anything will ever match up to the Warrior Hogan match at WM 6. The two men were top of thir game at the time. Fans were genuinely torn between who to cheer for as they loved both superstars. Everything was on the line for this one too. Title vs Title. And back in those days titles had meaning.

The Rock has only been around for seven years or so and has only been embraced by the fans for maybe four (though in fairness he has done well to put those "Rocky Sucks" chants behind him to become the entertainer he is today). So in my opinion booking the Rock vs Hogan match at WM X8 as legend vs legend was ridiculous. Also there was nothing on the line for this match it was just one guy against the other, even if it was The Rock and Hulk Hogan.

It was a good match but it shouldn't be mentioned in the same breath as Warrior vs Hogan.

As for the match being a copy, I don't think so. Kicking out of your opponents finisher is the norm these days. Warrior and Hogan just did it years before everybody else.
