He was escorted in and chanced only a brief glance at his father before hanging his head in shame and waiting silently for his handcuffs to be unlocked. Dropping onto the chair opposite, ankles still chained, his dark gaze - eyes red-rimmed and one outlined in a fading yellow bruise - flitted up to Jaden once again, only briefly..
