The Story of The Three Wise Men

There was a Jewish Wise Man, a Hindu Wise Man, and a Polish Wise Man. They had traveled very far from their home lands and were quite weary. They came upon a Farmers house, so they knocked on the door and ask the farmer if they might spend the night there. The Farmer, being a kind man said; “Yes you may spend the night here, but I only have room for two of you in the house, one of you will have to sleep in the Barn.” The Jewish Wise Man said, “That’s alright I will sleep in the Barn” and they all went off to bed.

A little while later there was a knock at the door. It was the Jewish Wise Man. He said, “ I’m sorry, but I cannot sleep in the Barn, for there is a Pig in the Barn, and it is not Kosher for me to sleep where there is a Pig” The Hindu Wise Man said, “That’s alright I will sleep in the Barn” and they all went off to bed.

A little while later there was a knock at the door. It was the Hindu Wise Man. He said, “I’m sorry, but I cannot sleep in the Barn, for there is a Cow in the Barn, and it is not proper for me to sleep where there is a Sacred Cow” The Polish Wise Man said, “That’s alright I will sleep in the Barn” and they all went off to bed.

A little while later there was a knock at the door. It was the Cow and the Pig.
