As always there was an error in lap counting down at the old Macmaster track and field center. Pat was stopped at one lap to go in an impressive clocking of 8:25 or so. They then proceeded to send the field out for one more lap at which point the order was nearly completely reversed. In the end, they returned to the original order at the time they stopped them. I came to the conclusion that Patrick would have run 9:40 or so. The kid who won though ran the correct amount of laps and looks like he has a shot at medalling which isnt all that suprising considering he placed 4th at OFSAA cross. Anyhow I have written enough, here are the SOSSA results at http://www.hwdsb.on.ca/athletics/.
