What a terrible shock to hear about Vengeance. DD, I feel so bad for you, and I send a ton of hugs to you. You went through a lot just to get to him. Don't just think it was only 3 weeks being his wife, because you have been with him much longer than that physically, and your bond was tied well before that even.
From a personal standpoint, I remember when I started going to the #Hotsex room in May of 2001, when he was a big part of the room at the time. Sometimes, he really acted the part of "Strongman Veng" back then, but I always got along with him, and considered him one of my friends. When he and DD left the room, I felt like I lost a couple of good neighbors. On occasion, I would go over and see them, but if you know people in my personal life, they will probably tell you I don't see them enough, either. I always enjoyed when he came back to the room, like seeing a long lost friend again.
My ironic mind keeps running the line, " 'Vengeance is mine,' sayeth the Lord." I pray He has Veng with Him in heaven, taking good care of our old friend.
Make sure you all keep Veng with you, in your hearts. DD, you are in your minds and hearts at this troubled time.
