Memories of Ronnie Ray Gun

With the passing of Ronnie Ray Gun I am curious how the folks in the room looked upon him. The room seems to span generations pretty well (I think some may have still been in pre-school when he was president. Regardless of politics, I think everyone had to enjoy the way he communicated his points of view and as an individual was extreamely likable in his public persona. With that, I would like to share one of my favorite Ronnie Ray Gun moments.

During the presidential debate with Walter Mondale Ronnie was asked about his age ( I believe he was the oldest president). His response was something to the effect of “I am not going to exploit for political purposes my opponent's youth and inexperience.”

So long Mr President.
