So, what is the PROPER ohm range for an: R6, R6 injected, F4, F4i, F3, 600RR, GSXR, and the list goes on! What if the sensor is "bad". Do you check yours before EACH race? Do you carry a spare in the trailer? I know when mine is going bad because I data log it during EACH race, but the 'common' racer does not have this ability and not many people carry a spare TPS or even know what one is or how it works!

This is a silly tech issue that has been rectified in the past. My original question stands: "why are we so worried about this now and why are we willing to OVERTURN the rules interpretations of the past?

Also, exactly how many 'common' racers have an ohm meter and know how to use it? The TPS is an electrical device that can go bad at any time. I still do not see why it is a big deal if someone has a non-functional or missing TPS on a carbureted engine. You are opening a can of worms with this tech.

I honestly have no dog in this fight since I race a Multi, but this is the decision process that is killing the NMMA so I am greatly concerned.
