Subject: TPS and what it does

The TPS on a modern bike makes street riding easier. It is there so when dumbasses grab a handle full of throttle from low rpm's it actually RETARDS the ignition smoothing power delivery. A simple form of traction control. Your advance is controlled by rpms. If you unplug a tps it makes the ignition map 2-D instead of 3-D. Same advance at all rpm's regardless. There isn't a gain or loss just a very slight power delivery.
