No one was allowed to see Tony the first night he was in the hospital, the gang went home confused about Tony and Tyra. What had happened tonight?
Cat sat down beside Des in their dormrooom. Cash stood in the doorway.
Cat: And I thought all I had to do was worry about packing my stuff. I cant believe it. I don't believe it.
Cash: Me neither. Tyras not like that
Des: I just need to find out what happened
Cat: My wedding is in three weeks. What if shes still in jail?

Tonys mother stood beside his hospital bed the day after the incident.
Tony: I love her Mom
Debra: She damn near broke half the bones in your body!!!I don't know if you know this Tony but you may never walk again. That little girl does not love you! She needs to be punished
Tony: It wasn't all her fault Mom!
Debra: You have a couple of days to decide if your gonna press charges. Be smart Tony, she doesn't love you.

Cashmere stared at Tyras blank expression as she sat behind the visiting glass of the jail. After 2 weeks of being in jail Tyra was finally allowed to have visitors.
Cash: What happened?
Tyra:They wont let me out of here. My Mom tried but they wont let me out.
Cash: What did you do?
Tyra:Its not my fault.Tony found out about Shomari and we got in this big fight....I was so mad Cash I mean he put his hands on me, He hit me hard....I just got in his car and he ran after me and I hit him...I wasn't thinking
Cash: Oh my gosh, that makes it self defense
Tyra:I haven't told them my story yet
Cash: Well you better tell em soon!
Tyra:It doesn't matter its too close to the holidays. Their not gonna let me out for Christmas.
Tyra wiped away a tear.
Tyra: I've never been this scared in my life Cash

Catrinas spiky heels clicked as she walked into her and Johns new apartment off campus. It was small and pretty empty yet Cat new she had a lot to smile about. She fell into Johns lap who was sitting on the couch reading a magazine. He greeted her with a kiss.
John: Hello my beautiful wife how was your day?
Cat: Great. I took my last final today and now I can just concentrate on the wedding
John: How about you concentrate on me instead
Cat laughed as John buried his head in her chest giving her tiny kisses
Cat: Stop boy the wedding is in 2 weeks.
John: I know honey its all under control.

Cash looked up at the stars as she sat outside with Devin. The sky was clear out as they sat on the schools football field.
Cash: When I was in high school, I would always sit out on the bleachers. Shawn always knew he could find me out there.... Man this has been one crazy year.
Devin: You've come along way
Cash smiled
Cash: I couldn't have done it without you, thankyou so much Devin.
Devin: It was all you. Hows your friend... Tyra?
Cash:Shes not too good. In fact shes really scared. But Deshone's mother got a lawyer whos is handling her case now and shes an awesome lawyer so things should be okay.
Devin was quiet so Cash changed the subject
Cash:So how you spending your Christmas?
Devin:With my nieces and nephews, we always have a potluck, my brothers and I.
Cash:How come your not married?
Devin laughed showing his dimples
Devin:Im only 26.
Cash:I knew you were young! I just didn't want to ask.
Devin and Cash burst into laughter.
Devin:I got you an early Christmas gift.
Cash:What is it?
Devin handed Cash the box. She opened it to see a sterling silver charm bracelet.
Devin: This is to make you stop wearing those long sleeved shirts . Show off some skin girl!
Cash shoved Devin
Cash:Get out of here stupid!
Devin:Im serious you mean a lot to me.I want to see you happy
Devin gave Cash a kiss on the forehead
Cash:Thankyou

Krystina brushed Jasons hair that was full of shiny black curls then put a beanie on his head. She laughed and gave Jason a kiss.
Krys: Mommy so silly huh?
Jason gave his Mom a smile
Krys: You laughing at the Mommy huh?
She ran her fingers through her bright red hair that she recently dyed and picked up her keys.
Krys: Come on honey lets go see Aunty Jackie.

Krys walked into Jamals house and gave him a big hug
Krys: Hey boy
Jamal:Long time no see
Krys: I know I miss yall. Where's my girl at?
Jamal:In the back
Jamal called for Jackie. Jackie walked out wearing a long black dress, her hair was in a bun.
Jackie: Oh my goodness Krys your hair!
Krys: You like it?
Jackie: Yea its hot. Fire red....Its cute
Krys:Thankyou I just needed a change.
Jamal picked up Symphony who was crawling around the livingroom.
Jamal: You guys ready?
Jackie: Yes
Jamal:Alright then lets start moving to the car.
When the crew made it to Des house almost everyone had arrived. The smell of Turkey, Ham, warm apple cider and just about every pie you could think of filled the air leaving a sweet aroma.
It was Christmas Eve and the gang, the whole gang, decided it was time to get together again.
Cashmere, Cat, Des, Jackie, Krys, Jamal, John, and Olamide all sat down to eat and talk.
Des: So are yall ready for the wedding
John: Yea I just want to get this over with
Cat smacked Johns chest
Cat: You what?
John: Ouch! You act like we not married already
Cat: Boy don't even start with me today
everyone laughed
Cat: I myself cant wait until December 31 my friends and family will get to see me marry the only man I'll ever love.
Everyone sighed and said "awwww" as Cat and John kissed.
The doorbell rang. Krys got up from the couch to answer the door. She suddenly lost the air to breathe as she saw it was Talib at the door.
Olamide ran over to them holding something behind his back.
Olamide: You guys stop right there!!
They both looked at Olamide startled
Krys: What is it Lams?
Lams: Look up over your head
Krys looked up and grinned at Lams. Talib shook his head
Lib: Very funny
Des got up and stood beside Lams
Des: You guys cannot ignore the mistletoe
Lib:Alright, all right.
He gave Krys a kiss on the cheek. Krys was so happy to feel Libs touch but she held her excitement in as she gave Lib a hug. Lib whispered in her ear
Lib: Im really glad to see you again
Krys: Me too.
Lams pulled the camera from behind his back and snapped a picture. They pulled away to take their seats on the couch...
Talib: So hows Tyra
Cash:Shes scared but I talked to her Mom today and she said that theres a possibility that she should be home before New Years
John: Really?
Krys: Well Tony isn't going to press charges.
Cat: Good
After eating dessert and reminiscing on old times Jackie and Jamal retired back to Mals house to sleep. Krys and Cash went back to her apartment to watch holiday movies Lams and Des went upstairs to talk and John and Cat went home to get ready for their bachelor and bachelorete parties.

The girls sat outside in Catrinas Mothers backyard. HEr bridal shower was over and Jackie, Cash, Des and Cat got caught up thinking back on old days.
Cat: Its so funny how were connected. If you think about it remember Letonia?
They all nodded their heads
Cat:She wanted John so bad
Krys:Are you serious I thought it was only Lams she wanted, thats why we broke up when he went back to N.Y
Krys regreted letting the words come out of her mouth as soon as she said it.She covered her mouth
Cat:uhhhh
Des:Are you still in love with Olamide?
Krys was silent for a while.What was the point in answering?
Krys:Well Des Im always going to love him. Hes the father of my child. But Im not in love with him. I havent been for a long time. I know that you guys are happy and I would never want to come between that.
Des:What am I suspose to say?
Krys:Nothing, its nothing Des.
There was an arkward silence before Des hugged Cash and asked
Cat:So tell me about Devin. Hes handsome.
Cash:Isnt he?
They giggled.
Cat:Des have you seen Cashmeres counselor?
Des:No I havent
Cat:Well yall need to see him, hes tall dark and handsome.
Everyone laughed as Cashmere and Cat gave eachouther High-Fives.

Jiz,Lams,Lib and Mal were all sitting at Johns new apartment. They were laughing thinking back on old times.
Lib:I cant believe your married John
John:Me neither. But I love her man
Lams:I know what you mean I cant wait to marry Des.
Lib:I cant even see myself married. Im never getting married. Im a bachelor forever
John:And you 'gon be lonely
Lams:You trying to tell me you dont love Krys no more
Lib:It dont matter how I feel about her.
Mal:It does matter everyman needs a strong woman by his side
Lib:Well for one Im only 18 and for two this man is not raising another mans child
Everyone got quiet.
Lib:How could you do that to me Lams?
Mal:Come on Lib not tonight.
John:No let them talk
Lams put his head in his hands
Lams:What did I do. It couldnt be any worse than you getting me shot.
Lib:So thats why you slept with Krys?To get me back?
Lams got up from his seat
Lams:No it wasnt even like that.
Lib:two wrongs dont make a right Lams. You was my bestfriend and then you took Des away from me. I thought my life was over and then Krys came and changed everything for me. And you took her away from me. Why Lams?
Lams:I didnt do it on purpose it wasnt planned. Im sorry Lib just as sorry as you are for almost having me killed now hows that!?
John got up and stood in the middle of them
John:STOP IT. BOTH OF YALL!! Now tomorrow Im getting married. This is my night and on my night I want my boys to be friends again. Its about to be a new year so lets leave the past behind. Stop argruing like some little girls!
Mal stood beside John
Mal:John is right. Yall got to get over this. Life is too short to stay mad at eachother.
Lams sighed loudly.
Lams:Alright Talib Im sorry for whatever I did in the past it was never my intention to steal anyone away from you things just happened and I apologize for that
Lib:Im sorry too. I didnt know what I was doing when I called up C.V.G
John:Now hug eachother. Let out all that frustration
The boys laughed and gave eachother genuine hugs.

Cat walked down the aisle staring into Johns eyes. He could no longer compose his self as tears quickly fell down his cheek. Cat had never looked so beautiful. She wore an all white laced wedding dress, her hair in spiral curls. She was actually glowing.
The two said their vows and exchanged rings once again.
John and Cat sat at the head table, along with Des, Jackie, Cash, Jamal, Talib and Olamide
who were bridesmaids and groomsman.
Des the maid of honor tapped her glass to give a toast to the bride and groom.
Des: Well, when Cat first told me she was getting married my first thought was What! You guys are to young to be getting married. But I took a breather and realized that love knows no age and when its that time you don't postpone it. Catrina loves John and even when they were going through it he has always been her rock. John you have a true woman of God and for that you are truly blessed. Cat I wish you more love than you can imagine and John you better take care of my girl.
Everyone laughed
Des: I love you guys and Im so happy for you guys.
Cat hugged Des and Des gave John a big hug. Talib then tapped his glass then cleared his throat.
Talib:Alright, well Im Johns bestfriend...I actually met John through Cat who I've know forever. I just wont to say that, ever since yall got together, yall have been the most functional couple in our whole crew.
The gang laughed
Talib:So thats got to stand for something. I remember back in the days I used to try to model my relationship after yours because yall always held it together. Even when yall had problems, Cat you just stayed so strong. John you found a very special lady, so I know you gonna keep her happy. Cat you taking my boy away from me. Who Im going to go clubbing with now?
Everybody laughed
Talib:Naw but seriously, John and Catrina I wish you the best of luck. congratulations
Cat:Thankyou so much Lib
Cat John and Talib all hugged eachother.
Cat then stood up
Cat:Ok everyone. Me and John would just like to thank yall for coming. I couldn't think of a better way to bring in the new year than with my husband, friends and family.
The D. J then announced that Catrina and John would have their first dance as husband and wife. They danced to "Make it Last Forever" by Keith Sweat.
And they planned to make it last forever indeed.
*So the gang plans to start the New Year off fresh and new. Is it going to happen?Will Tyra get out of jail? You'll have to find out in Chapter 88.
