All the girls screamed and the boys got up giving eachother hugs.
Cat:Yall set a date?
Lams:Woah calm down. Were not planning on getting married anytime soon, maybe 3 to 4 years from now.
Everyone was still excited and they partied like the wedding was right around the corner that night.

Cashmere walked into the lunchroom and looked around. She had been feeling so empty since she wasnt with Shawn anymore.She just wanted to be alone. She walked back out to the bleachers.
Cash had been sitting out on the bleachers with her head in her hands for a good ten minutes when she felt someone sitting beside her.
Cash:Oh My Gosh!!!!!!SHAWN WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!!!!
Shawn put his arms around Cash to calm her down
Shawn:Cashmere, Cashmere shhhhh can I just talk to you please?
Cash:Shawn dont do this, please dont.
Cash began to shake yet she didnt move she wanted to hear what Shawn had to say
Shawn:Cash I miss you and that aint no B.S. I know I've hurt you but I wanna work this out. I want to work this out.
Shawn looked at Cash with watery eyes.Cash stared deep into them trying to read him.
Cash:I heard that you killed one of your girlfriends, your abusive. Shawn you have a problem, your controling your demanding and I love you but you scare me.
Shawn shook his head the whole time, he bit his lip, hesitated and then said
Shawn:I love you Cashmere.I love you, I need you and Im nothing without you
And like that Cashmere was hooked again
Cash:Shawn I have a restraining order against you, you know that
Shawn:I know, can we try again you have my word I will never hit you again.
Cash looked down and started crying knowing her decision and hating herself for being so weak
Cash:Yes.
Shawn wrapped his arms around her kissing her lightly on the cheek.

Krys spotted Lams sitting outside on his porch while walking home from Talibs.
Krys:Hey you.
Lams:Whatsup
Krys:Not much.What you about to do
Lams:Nothing Im just waiting for Shawn to get here, to help him pick out a bracelet for Cash, return the favor you know.
Krys:Yea I still cant believe your engaged.
Lams:Yea me neither.
Krys:So whats going through your head right now?
Lams:I think Des could be the one you know?
Krys:Thats how I feel about Talib, but I have no intentions on marrying him
Lams:Oh yea why is that?
Krys:Because 90% of marriages end up in divorce and its just so easy for people to fall out of love now a days
Lams looked Krys in the eyes then looked away
Lams:I know what you mean.
Krys looked at Lams and smiled with watery eyes thinking about her parents divorce, life and the things around her and looked down.
Krys:I love Talib so much that Im scared to let myself go around him
Lams got quiet it had been so long since Krystina had been this serious with him.
Krys:Its like Im so scared that if I love him to much I'll loose him just like my brother, my Dad and you
Krys wiped away a tear and looked up at Lams, she closed her eyes and shook her head. She could'nt believe she was telling Lams all this.
Lams was at a lost for words all he could do was stare at Krys lemon drop complexion. She had her long hair pulled back into a ponytail a red flower was behind her ear.
Another tear fell from her eye.Lams wiped it away and placed a slow gentle kiss on her lips. Krys backed away after a while in shock they both stood up backing away.
Krys:This isnt right, I cant.
Krystina ran down the driveway and made her way home. Lams started to run after her but stopped at the end of the driveway. He was so confuesed now.

Krys paced the floor of her bedroom talking to herself.
Krys:I cant believe I did what I did. I have to tell Lib and Des
Krys picked up the phone then sat it back down.
Krys:What am I saying if I tell them........Man they cant know about this.
Krys picked the phone back up and dialed Olamides number.
Krys:Hey Olamide.
Lams:Yea
Krys:Lams I love Talib and I dont want to hurt him and I know you love Des and .........what they dont know wont hurt them
Lams:I was thinking the exact thing, just forget about it
Krys:thats all I wanna do
Krys hung up the phone and gave a sigh of relief.
Lams laid flat out on his bed in his shorts. He had so much on his mind. He and Krystina had so much unfinished business, that kiss let him know it. He loved Des so much but what if they fell out of love. What if he messed up and did something stupid to hurt her?
The next day Lib picked Krystina up from her house. She jumped in his lap on the driver side and planted kisses all over his face
Lib:Oh baby whats all this about?
Krys:I love you I love I love you, just thought you needed to know that.
Lib laughed loving to hear her tell him how she felt
Lib:I love you too but we gotta be going cause Im already behind.
Krys:Okay, Okay
Krys slid over to the passenger side

Cashmere laughed out loud as Shawn spun her around on his back in his backyard. He put her down as his Mom came out with Bar-B-Que
Janine:Everyone come eat
All of Shawns family took a seat at the two tables that we're placed outside to eat.Krystina sat beside Cashmere, Krys lived on the same block as Shawn and was close with his sisters.
Cashmere could see a definite change in Shawn. He was the perfect gentleman.
That night when he drove her home they sat in her car talking for a good two hours listening to the radio. He turned up the radio when he heard a Brian Mcknight song on.
Shawn beging to sing along as Cash giggled at his facial expressions

That night Cash went home happy that she and Shawn were working it out. They were with eachother almost everyday for the past 2 months and just like he said he had not raised his voice or raised a hand to her. She stared up at the sky from her window wishing things could be like this forever.

Tyra sat in her jounalism class tapping her feet nervously. Today was the day she would talk to Tony the star basketball player who just so happened to be peeping her style. What was she going to say to him she still didnt know how to talk to boys, infact up until a month ago she wasnt even interested in boys.
Tyra was so nervous that she didnt even notice Mia walk into the classroom taking her seat next to her. Mia and Tyra decided to remain friends.
Mia:Hey smartness!
Tyra smiled warmly greeting her.
Mia:So are you ready to work on the project,
Mia waved her hand in Tyras face after realizing she still had not got her attention.
Mia:Hello...Tyra
Tyra:Oh huh?
Mia chuckled
Mia:Whats wrong with you?
Tyra:Nothing, its just that...Well you know Tony?
tyra paused to see Mia nod her head
Tyra:Well he wants me to meet him behind the bleachers today
Mia:you gonna go?
Tyra:Yea why not?
Mia sucked her teeth
Mia:I thought you were smart hes a loser
Mia felt a twinge of jealousy she still was not over Tyra
Tyra:Well he can at least be my friend if nothing else
After journalism Tyra waited patiently behind the bleachers .
Tony walked over to Tyra slowly while Tyra stared him up and down, his N.Y Yankee Cap his baggy Polo jeans and matching Polo shirt and his smooth cocoa brown skin. Tony smiled when he got close to her. He pressed up against her whispering in her ear. Tony had been known for gaming girls up and Tyra was next on his list.
Tony had her at hello. Tyra was desperately trying to get rid of her reputation of being the "gay girl" and Tony could help. It wasnt even a week before he became her first.

Shawn drove home from Cashmeres house after a late night movie. He was so tired he didnt even notice the car that pulled up beside him.

(The Following Morning)
Cash dropped the phone and ran out of the house screaming. Her Mom ran outside to see what was wrong. Cash fell to the floor crying trying to catch her breath.
CsMom:Whats wrong baby whats wrong!!!
Cash struggled to find her voice as she said
Cash:Shawns dead
Cash cried even harder after hearing the words come out of her mouth
CsMom:Oh God, Oh sweetie
Cashmeres Mom wrapped her arms around her and rocked her back and forth right there on their sidewalk.

Des heard the news from Lams that Shawn was murdered. Lams tried to act like he was okay with it and made her go check on Cashmere.
Des knew Cashmere was still seeing Shawn, she didnt agree with the relationship but knew how much love could blind you.
Cashmere sat on her bed in shock everything just seemed like a bad dream she was about to wake up from.
Des:Cashmere talk to me
Cash just stared at Des playing with the charmbracelet Shawn had just given her last night.
Cash:F**king C.V.G, that was 'spose to be his family. He'd do anything for them
Des wrapped her arms around Cash, she laid her head on Deshones lap and let her tears fall

Lams walked out of his car onto Shawns block . Krystina sat on Shawns porch holding Shawns five year old sister Makayla's hand.
Makayla:Granny says Shawns in Heaven like Daddy
Krystina:Yes he is sweetie
Makayla:So when do I get to see him again.
Krystina:When GOD comes to get you.I'll be right back sweetie
Krystina saw him walking in the direction of Shawn's house and got up she pushed him back to his car. She thought about it and pushed him into her house.
Krys:Olamide what are you doing here boy?!!!!! Do you know where your at?Do you know how many people have gotten killed on this block, your number one on their list.
Olamide screamed back at Krystina
Olamide:I dont give a sh*t about that Krys, I dont. Shawn is dead Krys did you know that?
Krystina:I know Olamide.....
Krystina looked at Olamide and could tell he had been drinking alot.
Krys:Olamide I know your hurting.
Olamide:My bestfriend is dead, my nigga is dead. You hearing what Im saying Krys?
Olamide burst into tears
Olamide:Over some bullsh*t. C.V.G was 'spose to be his family. MY NIGGA WOULD DIE FOR C.V.G! AND THEY DIDNT SEE THAT!
Krys:shhh.Olamide calm down
Olamide wiped away his tears but they kept falling.
Olamide:I told him they didnt give a damn about him......C.V.G was spose to be his f**king family and they put my nigga in a box over a female he wasnt even messing around with.
Krystina started to cry herself after seeing Olamide's tears.
Olamide:You know when my Dad got locked up gangs was on my block heavy and C.V.G always told me if I needed protection, they would be my family, they would protect me. The only one that cared about me was Shawn, he was the only one there after C.V.G tried to kill me.After they tried to kill us.Now I have to burry my brother.
Krystina pulled Olamide in a embrace.She didnt have the words to comfort him
Olamide looked up at her with druken eyes
Olamide:Why you always gotta be so good to me gurl?
Olamide slurred his words
Olamide:After All I did to you you still here for me.......
Krystina:Im going to always be here for you boy. When you need me just call me especially now Olamide.
Olamide:I Iove you Krystina dont you ever forget that.
Krystina shrugged off his comment figuring it was the liquor talking.Olamide got up and walked to the door.
Krys:Olamide where are you going
Olamide:I gotta talk to Momma(Shawns Mom) See how shes doing.
Krys:No No No not yet.You need to sober up first.You dont need to be out here right now. Give me your keys so I can drive you home
